Background
The top (non-shiplike) portion of Queen Elizabeth's scepter is loosely based on the Sovereign's Sceptre with Cross.
One of the Crown Jewels, it has been used at the coronation of every British monarch since Charles II was crowned in 1661.
Ironically, this means that her namesake never wielded it, as Elizabeth I died in 1603.
