Little is known about this mystical creature who spent a long time dwelling at the bottom of a forgotten well dripping with briny seawater—formless, shadow-like.

Agar Agar Cookie's fate took a new turn when the lid of her well was opened by a pomegranate.

Appearance

Agar Agar Cookie is a slim, slightly short individual.

As with the majority of her color scheme, her dough is ghostly pale with a hint of a sea green tone.

Crimson eyes, ever-smiling and topped with rounded, placid lashes, peer from behind her hazy bangs.

Her cheeks are perpetually flushed in anticipation of her next meal, and her mouth is deceptively tiny for one with such a voracious appetite.

Agar Agar Cookie's hair is shiny and translucent like colorless gelatin and reflects the rare red tones in her design.

Its style in its overwhelming length and stepped sidelocks resembles the taregami (Japanese: 垂髪) style of Japan's Heian period's (Japanese: 平安時代) noblewomen alongside its modern derivative, the hime cut (Japanese: 姫カット, hime katto).

In particular, Agar Agar Cookie's hair consists of blunt bangs cut into four main strands with scalloped ends; this fringe is long enough to entirely mask her eyes, though the hair's translucency leaves them visible.

Her bangs are curtained by sidelocks, prism-like and akin to extruded cubes, which end at their owner's chin.

The main length of Agar Agar Cookie's hair is similarly squared, consisting of three long, symmetrical strands which trail along the ground behind her and end in larger cubes of agar-agar.

Agar Agar Cookie's attire is distinctly and intentionally Japanese in style—she modeled her appearance in canon after the Japanese-based pomegranate.

Though her outfit enjoys numerous liberties which diverge from historical accuracy, it is largely comparable to the jūnihitoe (Japanese: 十二単) of Heian noblewomen through its floor-trailing length and multiple layers.

Most notably, Agar Agar Cookie's clothing utilizes merely three layers compared to the often 12-layered jūnihitoe, and (perhaps as a result) it discards the all-covering nature of jūnihitoe by baring sections of Agar Agar Cookie's limbs.

Her clothing begins at its innermost layer with a blanched undergarment—most likely a hanjuban (Japanese: 半襦袢)—only being visible as an eri (Japanese: 衿).

Though no sleeves visibly connect to this top, cloth in the garment's color wrap Agar Agar Cookie's wrists, implying that its sleeves may simply be disconnected by way of artistic liberty.

Atop this is a simple hitoe (Japanese: 単物, hitoemono/単衣, hitoeginu), a particularly light, unlined form of kimono (Japanese: 着物).

Unlike its real-life counterpart, it is stark white in color and features no brocade embellishment; however, its long, flowing sleeves are rimmed in a shide (Japanese: 紙垂/四手)-like quadrilateral pattern in iron blue, something perhaps caused by Agar Agar Cookie's emulation of Pomegranate Cookie.
