Cotton Cookie is a short Cookie with pale off-white dough and a small frame.

She has short white hair styled in a bob with asymmetrical bangs shrouded by an oversized cotton hood.

She has muted teal eyes and a small, hopeful smile.

She wears a blue and brown dress with fur at the collar and hem of her dress; it also has repeating spade-like emblems.

She fashions a cotton-shaped bonnet brandishing a black tie, and appears to be wearing deep black boots.

She holds a crooked wooden cane covered in tufts of cotton, that of which has a butterscotch-colored bell and a vintage-style lantern.

Overall, her appearance resembles that of a shepherd.

Cotton Cookie in her playable iteration is confirmed to be minor-aged.

The following evidence confirms or otherwise supports this fact.

frost queen in Lantern in the Snow refers to Cotton Cookie as a "foolish child.

" The equivalent phrase used in the original Korean text is "무모한 아이" (mumohan ai), with 아이 (ai) being a term which refers to children or even babies.

The term has also been translated as "young" in Cookie Run: Kingdom, as seen with Young Snowfall Villager (Korean: 설원 마을 아이 쿠키 seol-won ma-eul ai kuki).

In Lantern in the Snow, Snowfall Villager refers to Cotton Cookie as a "girl," a diminutive term.

The original Korean word used is even more clear: it is again 아이 (ai), meaning child.

As exemplified by she and sherbet being grouped as "two little Cookie friends" (Korean: 사이좋은 두 쿠키, saijoh-un du kuki, "two Cookies who are good friends") in Lantern in the Snow, Cotton Cookie is mentally and physically about the same age as Sherbet Cookie upon his "death.

Cotton Cookie's current, canon self is confirmed to be adult-aged.

The events of Lantern in the Snow—from which Cotton Cookie's playable self originates—are said to have occurred long ago enough that the village no longer stands where it did during the Story; the span of time between then and now was long enough for the then-child Cotton Cookie to have become an elder, and therefore long enough for her to have become an adult.

Cotton Cookie in the present day is referred to with a slew of elder-related terms like "grandma/granny" and "Old Snowfall Villager.

Cotton Cookie's present day appearance sprites are internally named "old1" and "old2.

Character Inspiration

Cotton Cookie appears to be based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale The Snow Queen.

She is an analogue to the protagonist, Gerda, while frost queen is the titular Queen and sherbet is the spirited-away Kai.

In the story, The Snow Queen takes Kai away from Gerda after he ties his sledge to the Snow Queen's sleigh, but Gerda goes on a long journey in order to get him back.

On her journey, Gerda gets brainwashed by an older woman and only remembers her journey for Kai upon seeing a flower.

She gets kidnapped by bandits and eventually goes to the palace of the Snow Queen with Kai on the verge of freezing to death.
