Kumiho Cookie starts every run in fox form and needs nine double jumps to flip into her stronger Cookie form, something double finger jumps speed up considerably. Once there, you want to avoid unnecessary double jumps, since nine more will flip her straight back to fox form, and hitting Bonus Time while in Cookie form is worth chasing since it turns bear jellies into higher-value seduced jellies.

We rate her D. Her combination pet, Foxy Bead, helps a lot by letting her run through holes and obstacles instead of jumping over them, keeping that jump count under control, and her giant form scores even higher if you grab the Giant Beads along the way.

What's your name, cutie pie? Kumiho Cookie (Korean: 구미호맛 쿠키, Gumiho-mat Kuki) is an Epic Cookie released in the Dark Mode update (v1.1). She is of the Charge type and her position is prioritized to the Front.

Always playing coy, Kumiho Cookie is a mystifying fox who enjoys seducing others with her feminine wiles and spiritual shapeshifting skills.

Originally a fox-shaped marshmallow. She aspired to be a cookie so much that she survived on only flour and butter for 999 days while mastering the sorcery to fake a Cookie.

As a result, she can now disguise herself as a seducing and appealing cookie.

Anyone who catches even a glimpse of her will fall in love with her.

Character Inspiration

Kumiho Cookie is based on her namesake, the kumiho (구미호) of Korean legends.

The kumiho is a deceptive fox spirit which shapeshifts into a beautiful woman in order to seduce unaware men into a vulnerable position.

It takes advantage of their lowered guard to attack them and devour their heart and/or liver.

Kumiho Cookie's line, "What a yummy little Bear Jelly.

. . ", references her ability in Cookie Run: OvenBreak in which she charms Bear Jellies and eats them immediately afterwards.

This in itself references the kumiho's tendencies of enticement leading to violent consumption.

Kumiho Cookie's 999-day journey to gain her transformation powers is a reference to how kumiho who abstain from eating human flesh for 1,000 days become human.

Unlike the kitsune (狐) and huli jing (狐狸精) who can be anywhere from good to evil to somewhere in-between, the kumiho is almost always malignant-leaning in nature.

In general, Kumiho Cookie is very heavily based on Korean culture and appears quite often in game content centered around the nationality.

Kumiho Cookie is an average-height, slim Cookie with red-undertoned, medium-dark dough.

She possesses foxlike, piercing red eyes halved upwards in a cunning expression.

Her scarlet lips form a coy smile and are framed by two white fox whiskers on each side.

Her hair is icy cyan and situated in two long, framing twintails tipped with snowy white.

Her bangs are minimal and shortly drape upon her forehead in two rounded masses.

Occasionally, Kumiho Cookie is seen with one to nine fox tails trailing from underneath her skirt that appear identical to her long hair.

Kumiho Cookie's outfit consists of a hanbok (한복) heori-chima (허리치마) waistbanded skirt.

The heori-chima's jureum (주름) outer layer begins at its top with a darker sanguine shade and fades downwards to a lighter cardinal red.

The skirt as a whole is situated with a white heori (허리) band about its wearer's chest from which a simplified cream danjak norigae (단작 노리개) sporting an orange floral paemul (패물) is suspended.

Under her chima skirt, she wears white stockings with no distinguishable shoes.

In her left hand she totes a solid fuchsia hapjukseon (합죽선) hand fan.

In her animal form, Kumiho Cookie is a simple marshmallow fox with a pelt of the same colors as her Cookie form's hair.

Much like her tail(s), her pointed ears and paws are tipped with white with her underside to the tip of her snout taking this same white.

Kumiho Cookie's fox form's eyes and mouth are the same red shades as her Cookie form and are also framed by whiskers, though she now also has a brown button nose.

Kumiho Cookie is a highly charming Cookie who knowingly feigns a coy and demure front.

She often acts unassuming and harmless while seamlessly flattering others, sweet-talking her peers with names like "sweetheart", "honey", and "cutie pie", to ensure that she is seen as both an overall non-threat and something lovable.

This facade overlaps with her seductress tendencies, of which she is notably proud and confident—the vixen spends much of her dialogue mentioning how others can't seem to resist her allure.

Kumiho Cookie even goes so far as to inject certain carnal implications to her words, imploring others to "come closer", "count her tails", and "be gentle with her".

Though the results of her seduction are mostly left unseen in Kingdom, Kumiho Cookie's social confidence seems warranted as she is greatly adept at beguiling Bear Jellies in OvenBreak.

The effect is likely compounded further by the fact that she is canonically considered to be attractive and can render others love-struck with a simple glance based on her in-game description.

As for the motivation behind such behavior, it remains unclear based solely on canon materials (particularly because she is not often addressed much at all in depth in the Cookie Run series).

However, Kumiho Cookie's deception seems to be implied to be something malicious and exploitative when her kumiho (구미호) origins are considered; as stated in the Character Inspiration section, kumiho are notorious for using their wiles and the illusion of a beautiful woman's form to dine on the innards of unwitting, lustful men.

It should be mentioned that she also subsequently eats the Bear Jellies she seduces in OvenBreak.

Even besides these possible ends to her acts, though, Kumiho Cookie appears to simply enjoy the attention garnered from her ploys.

Amongst her wanton conduct, Kumiho Cookie makes certain to infuse her speech with certain notes of mystery to, naturally, lure in curious listeners, but also to mask her "true" identity.
