Is Hou good?
Hou doesn't get talked about much, but his Special Skill, Defensive Tactics, shared with ice 
Olaf, gives a significant defense boost that's genuinely useful early on, when enemies hit harder than your available heroes can handle. His main obstacle is competition: he fights for Class Emblems and the holy team slot against 
Bane, who ends up in most rosters by default.
