Biography

Early Life

During her time in life there was a plague that overtook the city she lived in, her parents as well.

She was found by an old lady with her family who took Hana under her wing.

At some point, the old lady died with her daughter putting the blame on Hana, believing her to be nothing more than bad luck, Assumingely she left because of that.

She spent most of her days alone, often getting picked on by other people who believed that she was cursed as well.

But one day, a woman named Jenny, who just moved, never shared that belief, if anything she wanted to be Hana’s friend.

Together they found an Innuit child crying, and it was Jenny who convinced Hana to help him cheer up by giving him some candy.

The mother of the child found him and thanked Hana for looking out for him.

Hana thanked Jenny for helping her feel brave.

The day of her birthday, Jenny left for work, while Hana cleaned up the house and prepared dinner.

Hana worried that Jenny wouldn’t be able to come, but she managed to show up, even if she was a little late.

Jenny revealed that she worked part time in secret to get Hana a present, but then realized she forgot the cake, so they decided to go get it together.

Because the store was going to close soon, Jenny decided to hurry along, only for to get hit by a car.

The day of Jenny’s funeral, Hana showed up to pay her respects, but the people believed that like everyone else, Jenny died because of her, the worst part was that she believed it.

At some point, she died and became a Grim reaper due to her guilt preventing her from reincarnation, and started work in After World Inc.

Meeting the Guardian

During her time in After World Inc. she wasn’t exactly taken seriously due to series of mistakes, so just tried her best to avoid being hated.

During her shift in the Room of Judgment, she met The Knight, who ended up in the After World by choking on a bell pepper, and almost accidentally sent the Guardian into the Labor camps for bad souls by mistake.

Fortunately, the Director and Charon managed to stop it before it happened and recognized them as the Paragon for their deeds.

They punished Hana by giving her a demotion to the Labor camps.

Due to some problems with a soul debt, The Knight ends up in the Labor Camps to pay off their debt.

During their time, The Knight manages to escape with some old allies Marty and Master Tao, and one old enemy, Troll Girl.

Wanting to make up for her mistakes, Hana tried to stop them, only to fail miserably, then decides to tag along with them.

When they were about to leave, they got caught by security, and would have been thrown back in their cells were it not for the intervention of Hana’s idol, Inspector Yuna.

Yuna managed to free the escapees and revealed that the Knight was never meant to be in the After World, as he is still living.

Yuna offers her help in exchange, they help her find evidence of Charon’s wrongdoings.

They managed to find such evidence and expose Charon in Agora with the help of the other souls they helped.

The Director orders Charon to be taken away, and apologizes for the inconvenience the Knight had experienced, and offered to send him back with a party, which sounded suspicious to the group.

Then he revealed his plan to use the soul energy he stole to be freed from being a Grim Reaper and become a god and rule the After World.

He then activates the device causing a bunch of tentacles to spawn and suck all the soul energy in the After World.

Hana awoke to find herself in the grip of a mysterious tentacle, and resolved to find and save the Knight.

She managed to get through the tentacle infested building by cutting her way through, and managed to save some of the souls and reapers doing so, and found Yuna.

Hana told Yuna of what had transpired, to which Yuna joined forces with Hana to take the Director down.

They were then attacked by more tentacles.

They fought back with all they could, then Yuna managed to throw Hana to safety.

Leaving her to do this on her own.

Hana tried to convince the Director to stand down, but refused and transformed himself into something unnatural, Hana stood her ground the best she could, but she wasn’t strong enough.

She reflects on her past, and her guilt was what was chaining her down, then she looks back at all the good she had done, then friends she had made, and that not only hardened her resolve to keep fighting, but it also manifested a scythe of her own, defeating the Director and saving the After World.

Hana and Yuna met the Knight at the entrance, with Hana being grateful for Their support.

While reincarnation is an option for her, she decides to be an inspector like Yuna.

After saying her goodbyes, Hana hopes to repay the kindness The Knight had shown her someday.

Personality

Hana is clumsy and shy, she just tries to avoid being hated.

As it has been this way since her time in life when people believed she was cursed.

The only exception was Jenny, who merely wanted to be her friend despite the rumors, when she died Hana was devastated and racked with guilt, which was the cause of her becoming a reaper.

Despite all that she always got back up.

She also idolizes Inspector Yuna and wishes to be just as successful as she is.

When she met with the Knight, she grew close to them for all the kindness they showed to her.

When she faces off with the Director, she grew the confidence and will to stop him.
