She appears to have no friends as there are no demibeasts who understand the Scientific Inheritance other than her.
Though I suppose that if you insist on talking about things only you understand and putting on airs, it is only natural that you would have no friends.
Though she says she does not need any friends, she is always looking for an assistant to help her with her research
