Mr. Fox

Fox is a very good lawyer.

Sinner Power

He has the ability to command people to do his bidding through speech.

Using it on you put a heavy strain on his mind.

It caused him immense head pain, to sweat, bleed through his orifices and he had to force the words out to command you.

Despite his best efforts however, his power never really worked on you in the first place.

"I needed more sins, more unforgivable sins, so that my final punishment would be more...

horrific."

Fox was a lawyer. He won every case he took.

He used to think everything in the world could be manipulated and exploited.

He caused a kid, a plaintiff in an abuse case, to jump to his death.

Because of the trauma, he gained his power and became a Sinner.

He defended a copycat killer who targeted women in the same company who had the same hair, eye, and skin color.

Because he frequently used his power and illegal methods to defend his client, he was eventually found to be a Sinner and detained by the MBCC.

Fox applied to temporarily be released from the MBCC to defend a client that he accepted 2 days before he was arrested.

He stated his credo: once he took on a client, he would unconditionally believe them to be innocent, and would do anything in his power to prove it.

You were well aware of his methods. discussed his client: a mistress who accused one of the maids of poisoning her husband.

Ultimately, you denied his request, claiming the FAC would send another lawyer to handle the case.

Determined to represent his client, he used his power to force you to release him.

But later, it was revealed you only pretended to be affected, and only released him so you could interfere.

You arrived at the Golstoy family mansion, and Mrs.

Golstoy, who took you to see the accused maid.

Mr. Golstoy had a son, but he was mentally handicapped, so Mr.

Golstoy kept trying to find new wifes to heir a healthy child, and Mrs.

Golstoy was the newest one, having moved in 5 months ago.

Mr. Golstoy had died while reading the newspaper in the kitchen after a meal.

There you found two similar jars which contained similar two similar kinds of powder, one of sugar and one of an unknown substance.

You interrogated the accused maid named Rita.

She confessed that Mr. Golstoy was sick and she was responsible for handling his medicines.

As he didn't want the bitter medicine, his mistress told her to mix it with alcohol so he would drink it.

Golstoy Junior interrupted the conversation, claiming there was a bad person who frequently abused him and let "rats" bite him, but failed to reveal who they was, while Rita was a good person who took care of him.

Before he could tell you more, Rita intervened and told you to let him rest.

Having gathered enough information, you left the mansion, only to stumble upon Fox, and promised to see each other in court.

The next day in court, Fox summarized the case: Mr.Golstoy died to a heard attack, and only Tifa, who handled his medicines, could poison him.

Upon being objected that Rita had nothing to gain from killing her own employer, he said human natures could be ficky.

He asked for another maid to testify, whom claimed to witness Rita being suspicious.

But you got cause to believe otherwise.

You pointed out there were two jars in the kitchen, one for sugar and one for the medicine, which looked similar to each other.

The only person who had the authority to allow this was Mrs.

Golstoy, so as to make it easier to blame someone else.

You pointed out Mr. Golstoy could have died from a different kind of poisoning, one that Rita couldn't have done.

You revealed there was evidence of the couple engaging in frequent sex, which could allow her to poison him for a long period of time.

You hypothesize her motive: Mrs. Golstoy killed her husband in fear of being replaced as she was unable to produce an heir for him, while a mentally handicapped son was much easier to control.

Fox turned the table on you by revealing Mrs.

Golstoy was not his wife on papers, while Rita was close to Golstoy Junior and could marry him to seize his assets.

Rita resigned to her fate, but begged not to let the son be with Mrs.

Golstoy, lest he be tortured again. Against his client's wish, Fox allowed Rita to speak her piece.

She revealed the father never treated his son like one.

Once again, Fox allowed the boy to enter the court and testify.

Learning that Mrs. Golstoy hid the child abuse from him, he was enraged and remembered his past.

You revealed the rats in his story actually referred to the cigar cutter that was used to injure him and obtain his fingerprint.

The case ended with Rita's victory.

Returning to the mansion with Golstoy Junior, Rita revealed her true face: she had been slowly poisoning both the father and the son by putting the father's drug into the son's milk, and the son's medicated oil into the father's drink.

She hated the household and even the boy.

She turned into a Corruptor and attempted to kill him, but Fox intervened, ordering her to leave the mansion and kill herself.

With the deed done, he realized you took on the case due to Rita, who you had found to have a higher M-value than normal.

You arranged for people to take care of the boy.

You declared Fox was forgiven for assisting you with the case, but warned him there would not be a second time.

Fox accepted his defeat, and revealed before he became a sinner, he once caused the death of a child in a child abuse case.

He continued to accumulate sins so he could go to hell and receive his deserved punishment.

Meeting you gave him peace of mind, and he hoped you would be the one to judge and punish him.
