Is Blue Gilthunder good?
Gilthunder's passive gives a big 60 percent Defense boost to Speed-attribute allies, which matters a lot for a mono-blue team built around Naofumi, Raphtalia, and 
Tarmiel since they all scale their damage off Defense. That passive only kicks in for Speed heroes in PvP, and his own crit rate is bad enough that his spike-damage skill is barely worth using.
He's an old unit whose value comes almost entirely from that one buff. We have him at B tier.
Pairs well with: Blue Naofumi; Blue Raphtalia; Blue Tarmiel.
Strengths
- Big Defense buff to Speed-attribute allies, which doubles as extra damage for units like Naofumi, Raphtalia, and Tarmiel
