She is the first Japanese racehorse to win nine flat-turf G1 races, surpassing the previous record of seven first set by Symboli Rudolf.

This record of victories includes the completion of the Triple Tiara in 2018.

She also won both the Tenno Sho (Autumn) and Japan Cup twice each.

Her retirement race, the 2020 Japan Cup, was a big showdown amongst three horses with the Triple title — Daring Tact (2020 undefeated Triple Tiara), Contrail (2020 undefeated Classic Triple Crown) and Almond Eye.

Almond Eye graciously retired by coming first in the race, with Contrail and Daring Tact coming in second and third, respectively.

After retirement, she is now a broodmare.
