Dream Journey is one of two characters that shares her birthday with the mobile game's anniversary; the other one being Forever Young.

The "big sis (anego)" referenced in her profile is Stay Gold before her umamusume iteration's release, due to references to journeys which is in Stay Gold's Hong Kong name 「黃金旅程」, which means "Golden Journey".

On an additional note, Dream Journey calls Stay Gold "anego".

His name came from Stay Gold's Hong Kong name, 黄金旅程 (Golden Journey).

Trivia

Dream Journey's father is Stay Gold, and damsire is Mejiro McQueen.

These "Stay-Mc Nicks" horses left remarkable results, and Dream Journey is the first example.

Dream Journey's temperament was so horrible that sedation during travels is not an option but a requirement.

His owners had trouble seeking out a suitable jockey to ride on him, where even Yutaka Take couldn't handle him despite being one of the best jockeys.

In the end, they sought out Kenichi Ikezoe, known for his ability to handle temperamental horses.

According to Ikezoe, Dream Journey's temperament is much more worse than Orfevre, stating that he "attacks with intent to kill" unlike other temperamental horses he had ridden on, where they "only mess with him for fun".

He once bit Ikezoe and caused his neck to bleed, terrifying his trainer.

However, it is said that Dream Journey sensed Ikezoe's unnerving approach of relaxing his grip and letting him bite as much as he wanted, which subsequently caused him to start obeying Ikezoe.

He even said that "Dream Journey is a smart, considerate horse who maneuvers to avoid seriously injuring people before biting.

Once you've been bitten, you understand.

It's not like you'd be screaming ‘scary, scary!’", a statement that left Yutaka Take appalled.

Dream Journey used to break people's spirits by slowly cornering staff members before biting them in the neck area near the arteries (hence the "attacking with intent to kill" statement).

However, his caretakers reported that he will be in a good mood and become easier to handle after being visited by Ikezoe.

When Ikezoe visited the brothers after retirement.

He still dared to give Orfevre a pat despite being kicked by his front leg, but only watched Dream Journey from a distance and refused to even touch him.

When Dream Journey became a breeding stallion, his temperament became even worse than before, which caused Ikezoe to say "he might kill me".

At the most recent visit, he played with Orfevre's tongue and pat Dream Journey on the head

He was born in the same year as Daiwa Scarlet and Vodka, making them horses of the same generation.

He never won against both mares, however.

Most notably, he had lost the 2007 Japanese Derby to Vodka and 2008 Arima Kinen to Daiwa Scarlet.

She seems to be remarkably considerate, treating everyone with courtesy while wearing a gentle smile on her face, but perhaps...?

Appearance

Dream Journey has long and messy warm-gray hair, with a white underdye.

Her fringed bangs almost cover her eyes, and she has several white and yellow streaks scattered throughout her hair.

In the center of her bangs is one very large white strand of hair, and on the strand next to it, a diamond-shaped marking, and on top of her head, a large warm-gray ahoge.

Her ears are large and fluffy, with yellow on the inside.

On her right ear, she wears a metal ring with a diamond charm protruding upwards, attached is a white tassel that fades into a yellow gradient.

Her narrow eyes are very unique, with her light purple irises fading into baby blue, and a dark blue pupil in the center.

She wears a pair of oval-shaped glasses, with a thin, silver wire under-rim.

Her racing outfit is befitting of someone as cool and composed as her.

The main piece of this ensemble is a piece of attire that is equal parts dress and jacket.

It is colored a warm gray, similar to her hair.

The jacket's collar is yellow on the right side, and black on the left.

The dress is tied around her waist with a black leather belt, with several silver chains coming off of it.

Underneath the jacket, she wears a dark red button-up shirt, with a line of several silver rings held together by leather straps going down the center of her chest.

The "big sis" mentioned in Dream Journey's profile who influenced her in childhood is Stay Gold, and Dream Journey races with the purpose of seeing the "journey's end" that Stay Gold spoke of.

When asked about her inspiration, Dream Journey recalls: "At the end of the journey, I saw a streak of gold.

Win Variation - Friend. While Win Variation feels inferior in racing ability compared to Orfevre, Journey sees the talent in her.

In fact, she even envies her for the fact that she gets to compete with Orfevre, while she is unable to due to the fact that she had stopped racing at that point.

Journey has an appreciation for Vodka's straightforward nature.

While others are confused by Vodka's desire to run in the Japanese Derby, Journey doesn't look down on her for it, and instead encourages her to run her own path.
