But what's this? Pavlova Cookie may seem insufferable at the first glance, but a careful look past his antics will reveal berries of desperation beneath the sugary crust.

The stone is light and delicateemdashlike a meringue waiting for true love.

His small mouth is perpetually curled into a heart-like smile.

His hair cascades in dramatic, candy-colored layers: a bold strawberry-red swoop crowns the center, flanked by softer pink locks, while the back features four more tufts in a pale pink-and-white hue.

A crimson ribbon is neatly tied at the back of his head, securing the airy strands.

The Ribbon's tail curves into the shape of a heart when Pavlova Cookie feels happy.

From his back sprout a pair of cupid-like wings, feathered in white and gentle pink tones and swirling meringue-like shapes.

He wears a flowing red himation with three tiered ruffles sweeping to the left (mirroring eternal sugar) gathered at the waist with a deep crimson ribbon.

Beneath this outer garment is a sleeveless white tunic, featuring a wing-shaped flourish draped over his right shoulder and connected to puffy white bloomers just visible beneath the hem.

His shoes are dainty and white, wrapped with crimson ribbons that coil just below the knee, mirrored by a similar ribbon wrap along his right arm.

Floating behind his head like a holy emblem is a halo-like crown: eight sculpted leaves interspersed with four raspberries and four halved strawberries.

Pavlova Cookie is rarely seen with feet on the ground, gliding gracefully with his bow in hand: a white-and-pink weapon with upturned nocks and a red heart engraved on its grip.

His arrows are just as ornate: white shafts with leaf fletching, white-pink meringue at the base, and arrowheads crafted from sliced strawberries shaped like hearts.

In his alternate standing pose, he is shown to have upside-down heart irises.

Even after Pavlova Cookie's transformation in the story following Battlefield of Passion, his playable appearance still depicts him as his more youthful self.

Pavlova Cookie is an eccentric, whimsical, and overly romantic messenger of joy, obsessed with the idea of love and emotional fulfillment.

However, in Beast-Yeast Episode 10, Pavlova Cookie seems to have matured, being more calmer and serious than before (and accepting his fate), unlike his previous, starry-eyed self.

This is most likely combining multiple myths of Eros (the Greek god of love) from Greek mythology together: in one of the myths of Eros, Aphrodite expresses concern that Eros is remaining a perpetual child, and thus has another child, Anteros, Eros's brother.

When Eros is near Anteros, he grows up, and when he is away from Anteros, he begins to grow small again.

Another myth states that after Eros met Psyche, he matured and took his job more seriously than before, becoming a better person in the process and moving away from his old mischievous, child-like self.

Pavlova Cookie's maturation shows characteristics of both of the aforementioned myths, but ultimately, like Eros, he grows as a person after realizing what true love is.

Whether his growth is metaphorical or literal is up for interpretation.

Pavlova Cookie is repeatedly referred to with child-related phrases by both eternalsugar and hollyberry like "little," "little one," and "still young with much to learn.

" The latter instance's original Korean text said by Eternal Sugar Cookie is "파블로바맛 쿠키는 반죽이 말랑해서 아직 시야가 좁지요," translating as "Pavlova Cookie is narrow-minded because his dough is still soft" with soft dough being a known characteristic of young Cookies.

Pavlova Cookie is heavily based on Eros/Cupid and resembles the amorino, all of which are often if not always childlike figures.

It should be noted, however, that Eros/Cupid are sometimes said to have the mind of an adult and can switch between child and adult forms at will.

Pavlova Cookie is seen working for Eternal Sugar Cookie before the beasts were sealed away in episode 11 of Beast Yeast.

Pavlova Cookie, along with the other minions of the Beasts, does not age due to his connection with the Soul Jam.
