Sasha Gagarina

Sasha Gagarina is an SSR character in Counter:Side. Faction: Ciringrad.

Sometimes, the effects of Sasha's ability could wear off if the item she modified went too far away from her.

Due to the experiments that were done on her, Sasha suffered from sporadic fever breaks and narcolepsy.

Friendly neighborSasha Gagarina was an operator and a Counter from the Northern Union.

She was a an escaped test subject whose powers were awakened as a result of human experimentation by the Northern Army.

She gave herself the surname "Gagarina" because she lacked one prior.

Sasha was always jubilant and energetic, and her arrival at Ciringrad helped brighten up the whole atmosphere of the whole town thanks to her cheerfulness and Counter ability.

She was industrious and never stepped away from an opportunity to help out the villagers, even if the tasks were dangerous even for the local militia.

In that regard, Sasha was headstrong and refused to back down whenever people were in trouble, no matter how much others insisted she stay out for her own safety.

Additionally, she could be somewhat carefree in areas where danger was present but not imminent as seen when she was indulging in an issue of Charge!

Sasha's positive outlook and temperament may have been a coping mechanism for trauma, and she regularly had nightmares of her time at the Northern Army's laboratory.

Furthermore, her rescuing of Mavka was more out of guilt than of compassion because Sasha's escape from the lab led to Mavka's transformation into a Matryoshka Doll.

She hid this fact, along with her terminal Coruption Syndrome diagnosis, from Mavka, which only made her feel even more guilty in the end due to Mavka's honesty.

Nevertheless, Sasha truly regarded Mavka as a friend and not just a victim she needed to atone for, and hearing Mavka reaffirm their friendship during her last moments gave her closure and relief.

Sasha's last name may have been derived from Yuri Gagarin, the first human to go into outer space.

This is evidenced by the name of Mavka's ultimate skill "Sputnik Sasha"— "Sputnik" being the name of the first artificial satellite of Earth.
