Is Brave Hector good?
Armored fighter who gets a follow-up on both phases no matter the Spd gap. Maltet guarantees his second hit when the foe attacks him, and Bold Fighter does the same when he starts the fight while speeding up his Special, so Ignis goes off in almost every player-phase combat.
Ostian Counter is a stronger take on Distant Counter that also adds Atk/Def during combat, which lets him punish bows and tomes that try to poke him from range.
