Background

Biography

Early Life

She grew up in dire conditions, constantly abused by a certain man.

Her body was perpetually covered in scratches, and she was thin from hunger.

The man would flip a coin; if it landed on heads, he would leave her alone.

But if it didn’t, he would beat her. He taught her that "choices are a predator's privilege." All she could do was pray.

She wouldn't understand the meaning of those words until she was older.

As time passed and she matured, she no longer needed to pray.

Orca eventually stood up for herself, brutally beating the man who had tormented her.

She then flipped a coin, just as he used to do, and when it landed on tails, Orca shot him.

From that moment on, she became a full-time mercenary, indifferent to the identity of her clients, even if they were entire armies.

During one of her missions, Orca encountered Marina, the Grand Admiral of Adela Kingdom's navy.

Orca immediately figured that Marina was no small fry and attempted to kill her, but failed and was apprehended instead.

Deeply frustrated by her inability to eliminate her target for the first time, Orca vowed to one day end Marina's life with her own hands.

Attack on Adela Kingdom

Driven by her vow, Orca allied with the Invaders who were planning to assault Marina's homeland.

With their assistance, she devised a plan to mentally torment Marina.

When they clashed for the second time, Marina lost her left eye while Orca lost her left arm.

Despite the Invaders’ role in destroying Adela, Orca added to the chaos by distributing Invader Crystals to its citizens, turning them into drug addicts.

Additionally, Orca 'stopped to say hello' to the crew of Irmina, Marina's ship, as they evacuated citizens.

She flipped a coin, and when it landed on tails, she and the Invaders slaughtered the entire crew.

After completely annihilating Adela, Orca confronted Marina yet again.

Marina believed the Invaders were solely responsible for her country's destruction and that Orca was merely a hired hand.

However, Orca revealed that she was the one behind the entire assault, not for money, but for her own pleasure.

New Client

Following Adela's collapse, its refugees sought shelter in the neighboring Rah Empire, angering the local crime syndicate, "Reservoir Snakes." Meanwhile, Marina began rebuilding Adela from scratch.

The "Reservoir Snakes" hired Orca to address two issues: Adela's reconstruction and secret weapon development.

Arabelle, the syndicate's caporegime, gave Orca direct orders.

Orca insisted on hiring a dozen more mercenaries, and Arabelle reluctantly agreed.

The "Reservoir Snakes" provided the mercenaries with an abandoned factory for weapon development.

Some of them were sent to seize Elemental Essence, a powerful raw energy source located in the elven forest.

They earned the codename 'lumberjacks' for ruthlessly cutting through the forest to obtain the Elemental Essence.

Cutting down the Elemental Tree caused the Essence to shatter and scatter worldwide.

Some shards, however, were immediately retrieved and sent to the factory.

During this mission, the mercenaries easily suppressed Estel, the forest's protector.

After having their forest ravaged, the elves sent Estel to retrieve the scattered Elemental Essence.

She quickly found one of the mercenaries' hideouts and went on a killing spree, eliminating almost all of them.

Ultimately, she fell into a trap set by Orca.

The only thing that saved her from death was Orca flipping a coin that landed on heads, deciding to lock the elf up.

Marina discovered the factory's location and brought The Knight to assist her.

They confronted Orca, who taunted Marina about Adela's destruction and her role in it.

They clashed again, but Orca escaped, claiming that 'two against one is a bit unfair.'

Their next encounter was in the factory's hangar, where a giant orca-shaped war machine was being developed.

Arabelle instructed Orca to use this machine to 'wipe out the Adela rats.' But seeing Marina, Orca couldn't resist testing the unfinished robot on her, The Knight, and the newly rescued Estel.

The war machine, powered by a shard of Elemental Essence, engaged them in battle.

Orca mocked Marina with cryptic clues about her clients targeting Adela, which frustrated the Grand Admiral.

The confrontation ended with Orca's defeat and subsequent escape.

Orca reported the events to Arabelle, who scolded her for the failed logging operation.

The mercenary mentioned The Knight's presence, prompting Arabelle to say she would report this to Great Granny herself.

The "Reservoir Snakes" were working on a grand plan that demanded completion on schedule.
