On the Monster Hunter Outlanders tier list Keres is B tier, 8th of the 10 adventurers ranked. Enters Demon Mode from 40% Demon Gauge for faster movement, no knockback and Combo damage. Evasive Fang leaps back with a parry and follows into Enhanced Chain Slash.

Profile

Wields dual blades, chaining rapid strikes into relentless combos with blinding speed. Some skills unlock enhanced follow-ups, overwhelming targets with an unending flurry of slashes.

Past tragedies have made her wary of others. She keeps to herself and rarely speaks, yet hunts with a wild fury. She also enjoys painting.

An adventurer forged in cold stares and betrayal. Orphaned at a young age, she faced an Odogaron alone—and survived against all odds. From then on, she lived like a beast, isolated and unwilling to trust anyone. That changed only when she encountered an unknown blacksmith's kindness, and was later taken in by the Adventurer Guild's commander, Freya. To protect that long-lost warmth, she chose to fight on her own terms—becoming an adventurer who relies on her own strength.

Keres carries the title "Silent Frenzy".

  • Chain Slash

    Attack

    Tap Attack to perform Chain Slash, executing up to 4 consecutive slashes. While in Demon Mode, tap Attack to perform Demon Mode: Chain Slash, executing up to 3 consecutive slashes and dealing Combo damage.

  • Sidestep Slash

    Attack

    After performing Chain Slash, drag the left joystick to aim, then tap Attack to chain into a Sidestep Slash in that direction. Deal Combo damage during Demon Mode.

  • Demon Mode

    Burst

    When Demon Gauge is at or above 40%, tap burst to enter Demon Mode, increasing movement speed, enhancing some skills, and preventing knockback. During Demon Mode, Demon Gauge is consumed continuously. It ends automatically when the gauge is depleted, or hold React again to cancel it manually.

  • Wolf Howl

    Burst

    During Demon Mode, tap Burst to perform Wolf Howl I, consuming a small amount of stamina to strike twice with braids and claws, dealing Combo damage. Tap Burst again to use Wolf Howl II, swinging the braids and claws forward in a combo attack. During Demon Mode, keep tapping Burst to use Demon Mode: Wolf Howl III, a Spinning Bludgeon in place that deals Combo damage. After each stage ends, tap Attack again to perform an Enhanced Chain Slash.

  • Evasive Fang

    React

    Tap React to jump backward into the airborne and perform a sideways spinning slash. During the move, parry can be performed. Continue by tapping attack to perform Enhanced Chain Slash: Mauler. If the parry is successful, tap attack again to perform Enhanced Chain Slash: Tendon Cutter. During Demon Mode, if the parry is successful, tap attack again to use Demon Mode: Enhanced Chain Slash: Bone Piercer, entering airborne and dealing heavy Combo damage.

  • Roll

    React

    When out of combat or while afflicted with Fireblight, tapping Evade will prioritize evade.
