Is Nu Gundam good?

Nu Gundam works as a long-range support unit: its Fin Funnel and Fin Funnel EX weapons both reach range 5 and apply debuffs, and 5 movement lets it reposition freely. Its passive halves incoming damage from beam weapons, and stacked with its Shield Defense mechanic that makes it one of the tougher answers to beam-heavy attackers.

It also carries the Psycommu, Newtype Exclusive Unit, Lightning Speed, and Shippu Jinrai tags, so it slots into several tag-based teams built around those keywords, landing in the A tier here.

Pairs well with: Amuro Ray (Char's Counterattack); Rau Le Creuset; Aphrodia; Florence Kirishima; Char Aznable (CCA-MSV).
