Is Drake good?
Drake's best form is his Greatsword, where short skill cooldowns let him keep attacking constantly for strong, steady damage as one of the better Lightning-type Greatsword users around.
He also works as a Staff-wielding support for 
Merlin, or as a Longsword Burst unit alongside her, with 
Gilthunder and 
Daisy rounding out either setup. We rank him B tier.
