1. Scene 1
28 linesOkay, I'm going to try and get started.
We're counting on you, Ashtear.
I'll be done in a jiffy.
Guilty Hades will be airborne before you know it.
How's it looking, Kamlanage?
Hmm... I'm having trouble getting it to synchronize with Guilty Hades's central nervous system.
That's weird... Everything's connected properly.
Get it together ya piece o' scrap! I didn't dig ya out of that hole just so ya could disappoint us when it counts!
Leave this one to me, Miss!
Huh? What the...
Hah! Now we're cookin'!
Hmph. It worked.
Of course it worked. Who do you think you're talking to?
Nice job, Ashtear! Come on, guys! Let's go!
We should set course for the Witherfields. That's where we'll find the Sword Hall.
Actually, there's one other place I'd like to visit before that. Do you mind?
Like where?
Just once, I'd like to see the ferry blossoms up close. They've been on my mind ever since we first arrived here. Guilty Hades can fly now, and there's even a group of them floating in the direction we're headed.
We can spare a few minutes, right?
I don't really think we've got time to stop and smell the flowers, Ashtear...
That's rich coming from the guy who was just slacking off at the Tower of Wisdom.
Come on, Aldo! I wanna see them, too!
I am 120% in agreement. This could be a good opportunity to gather important botanical data.
Sigh... Fine. But let's be quick about it.
Yay! You're the best, Aldo!
Let me come and pick you up.
2. Scene 2
22 linesWow!
It's so beautiful!
Yeah, but how are these things even flying?
Perhaps they can manipulate gravitons like the roks do, though that wouldn't explain why they float across the sky in streams.
They've been here for as long as anyone can remember, so it's not something we ever thought of as strange. The ferry blossoms sprout all over our world regardless of season, soaring the skies in large groups after they bloom.
Really now...
The roks have been referring to them as "flowers", but surface scans indicate that they are primarily composed of silicon. I can't get a good read on their inner composition due to interference from electromagnetic waves... ...But they all seem to emit some kind of unknown energy source.
That would certainly lend credence to the theory that they're some kind of hybrid between mineral and botanical life.
When we were children, our elders always told us that the ferry blossoms carry our people's life force across the clouds. When a rok laughs or cries, that emotion resonates with the flowers causing them to ascend from the earth.
Really? Is that really true?
Of course it's true! The flowers remember everything about us, which means our feelings and emotions can live forever.
Right, Amelie?
That's right. That's what my mother always says.
See? If the Flower Guard says so, then it must be true!
So that means we'll all be able to live happily together, even after our bodies crumble to dust?
Huh? Why would we crumble to dust?
You ready to get going, Jillfunny?
Huh? Oh, um... Yes. Let's head to the Witherfields. We need to learn more about the Golden Sword from my brother...
Sounds like a plan!
Commonsarg... Jillfunny... Why? Why did this have to happen?!
