The air is thick with feverish excitement and a creative passion to match! What masterpieces will it yield this time? Everyone waits with bated breath for the next brilliant work of art, but for some reason, the creators aren't...well...creating anything!

"It's been a while since I participated in an event like this and I'm worried I don't have the energy. I'll get on it tomorrow."

"You can't rush inspiration. I'll get on it tomorrow."

"I'm tired. I'm going to play games today. I'll get on it tomorrow."

Chloe can't help herself, she's furious. And so she decided to take matters into her own hands by managing the self-centered and unmotivated creators herself. And so Chloe changed her class to Avenger...or rather, Editor.

Chloe calls herself a competent pretty girl editor. She is in charge of all miscellaneous tasks outside the creative process, such as scheduling, negotiating with the printers, proposing projects, and even taking care of meals and personal needs. She has made it her mission to steadfastly support writers and deliver their work to their readers. Even while being pushed around by writers who refuse to listen, her positive thinking and energy are sure to yield better-than-expected results.

The little editor keeps busy as she tries to build a bridge between the writers and readers.

Unlike Archer Chloe, this Chloe has a tendency to fuss over people. She already had a tendency to indulge those she liked, but this trait seems to have shifted slightly as an Avenger class.

"Have you ever heard of the Pomodoro Technique? It's a time management method where you concentrate for twenty-five minutes and then take a five-minute break and repeat. And midway through, you take a longer break session and...yep, this way the writers can work eighteen-hour days!"

...Wait, is this actually a skill???

To writers progressing according to schedule, this amounts to little more than a check-in. But for one who has fallen behind, these words can sound like a most dreadful curse. One must discern the truth from the writer's ambiguous responses, which tend to be a mixture of truth and pure baloney. Once she's made her determination, it will be time to either beat the writer's ass or get to begging at the printing house.

When it's absolutely impossible to submit a finished manuscript in time, this forbidden skill is used to submit a tentative manuscript and then replace it with the finished version during the proof check step. It's not recommended, since doing so may incur a replacement fee and accidents are...well, more likely. Nevertheless, such misdeeds are said to occur rampantly on an everyday basis...

For writers and editors, it signals the end of their work. But for printers, this means it's time for their battle to start, and the printing presses need to get into full swing.

Let the Most Vivid Black and White Be Delivered To You.

The various emotions Chloe gained through manga burst out as a black and white impact. When this Noble Phantasm is activated, Chloe's subjective depiction of the world turns monochrome and her movements are sequenced into individual scenes. Like panels in manga, only the moments when the enemy is attacked are highlighted. In the end, the attack becomes real and produces a massive explosion due to the overlaying of the phenomenon.

Chloe seems to prefer the types of manga that highlight crucial one-panel moments rather than those that focus on flow and coherence.

Chloe can neither draw nor write stories. That is why she has such respect and admiration for the creative process. She would do anything to help the writers create better work. After all, works brought to life after overcoming the pain of the process will surely be all the more moving. In a sense, Chloe seems to have higher regard for the influential power of the work than the writers who created it.

However, even if one poured their entire heart and soul into a work, it may not always find favor with the readers. In fact, there is a type of catastrophe called "backlash," or the notion that the work might "go up in flames." The work that was used as an ember to kindle the flame is instead burned up by dark emotions and ultimately reduced to ashes. Those emotions then smolder and fizzle, only to eventually be forgotten. Learning of this potential end, Chloe was thrown into despair...and transformed.

She turned into the Calamity of Editing...a Dangerous Beast.

...Why?

It is worth noting that Illya entered Hawaltria earlier than most others and spent several days goofing off, making no progress on her manuscript. Perhaps that may have played a part in Chloe's transformation.

She claims she has no memories of her turning as the beastly god. Probably best not to dig too deep there. For her sake.
