Gareth

One of the Knights of the Round Table, holding the seventh seat. A young knight who, alongside her brothers Gawain, Gaheris, and Agravain, was born to King Lot and the Fairy Queen Morgan. The treacherous knight Mordred is her half-brother.

Guerrehet is another name for her, and her nickname is Beaumains (Beautiful Hands).

Gareth was the last member to join the Round Table, and she is the least experienced among all the knights.

She revered all her senior knights of the Round Table. She was especially attached to Sir Lancelot and often followed him around.

She went through rigorous training during her squire days, and like Gaheris, she didn't accompany her older brother Gawain, but instead chose to act as an attendant to Lancelot.

Gareth was loved by many, due to her boundless potential, and even the other Round Table knights beyond her brothers all thought highly of her, saying,

"She will be a great knight one day."

"She's sure to be a true knight, on par with her brothers."

Agravain wanted to expose Queen Guinevere and Sir Lancelot's adultery and asked Gareth to act as a witness to set the scene.

However, in refusal, Gareth said, "I will not do anything outlandish to Sir Lancelot, who raised me to be the knight I am today," leaving with a heavy heart.

Later, Sir Lancelot is caught in his adultery and Agravain is slain in retribution. Gareth is then ordered to be present for the captured Queen Guinevere's execution. Gareth stated that she would only do so against her will, attending the execution without bearing any arms or armor. This decision ultimately brought tragedy.

Sir Lancelot comes to rescue the Queen and ends up crushing the unarmed Gareth's head.

Many lives were lost in this single incident.

Agravain, Gaheris, and Gareth...

Sir Gawain's sorrow from losing his siblings must have been immense.

Thus, the Round Table is sundered, and the glory of King Arthur and the Round Table meets its end.

She honors the way of the knight, believes in justice, and follows through on her beliefs.

She is proud to serve under the King of Knights, and she feels that being chosen as a member of the Round Table was the greatest honor in her entire life, even to this day.

She still admires Sir Lancelot. Even after the way she met her end on that fateful day, she respects him. Even when he never seemed to notice her as he single-mindedly charged to save Queen Guinevere, she idolizes him.
