A young girl who inherited the secret techniques of a certain cemetery. While she is not used to socializing, she works diligently at the Mage's Association's Clock Tower as Lord El-Melloi II's apprentice.

Only a handful of people (El-Melloi II among them), along with a strange talking cube that calls himself Add, know the truth concealed beneath the hood that she wears.

Add's characteristics are responsible for her manifestation as an Assassin.

For the most part, she is shy and withdrawn. Growing up in the countryside, so far from city life, gave her the tendency to stand back and observe events from some remove. Deep down, she is a gentle and patient person, and she has a tendency to behave in ways others find appealing, so she should be able to blend in under almost any circumstance given time.

...As long as there is no mention of her face, that is. She and Add, who has a scathing, but honest tongue, make a great team.

Mystic Code Seal Release: C

The Mystic Code Seal named Add that Gray carries around not only seals the sacred lance, but it can transform into different shapes via special releases, as needed. This Mystic Code is responsible for Gray's manifestation as an Assassin.

Raised to be the keeper of one of the British Empire's prominent cemeteries, Blackmore, Gray is knowledgeable in many techniques for fending off fiendish spirits. Even Servants, who are incarnations of great and powerful Heroic Spirits, are no exception.

Lance that Shines to the End of the World.

Its true form is an anchor that connects the two sides of the world, and the lance that she wields is the shadow of that anchor. However, the fact that it is a shadow and that it is beyond Gray's capabilities as a human, means that normally Add, as a Mystic Code Seal, restrains it within himself. This seal is released when necessary, and Add is able to transform into various weapons by using the power emanating from the sacred lance. Even with the thirteen restrictions and the Mystic Code Seal working in concert to limit it, the sacred lance never loses its brilliance.

A certain clan once tried creating a vessel fit for a king. Her physical body is a faithful recreation of the ancient hero, and manifests power beyond the imagining of ordinary humans. However, these changes began occurring suddenly in Gray's youth, and so she has yet to accept this face she now wears as her own. She therefore has a strong bond with and sense of trust in Lord El-Melloi II, who took her from her homeland and has little care for her face.
