Lancelot is one of the Knights of the Round Table, praised as one of the strongest and most noble.

He served under King Arthur, but parted ways with the king after he fell in the forbidden love with Queen Guinevere.

This is the great knight Lancelot, summoned in a form closest to his original state, a Saber.

Loves justice, honors women, and most of all, despises evil. This is the romantic figure King Arthur recognized as the "ideal knight."

But such an ideal does not last forever. Lancelot himself was the main reason behind the end of King Arthur's legends. By punishing himself, he wished for the king to learn the limits of what it means to be human. However, that never came to be.

It is true that Saber is the most appropriate class for Lancelot to be summoned as.

But Lancelot believes the fact he is a Saber could not be more ironic. "I'm a pure and noble knight? What a joke! I contributed to the fall of Britain!"

And so Lancelot has convinced himself that Berserker is actually the best class for him.
