Locusta

This woman from first-century Rome was a poisoner in service to the Caesars. She was discovered by Nero's mother Agrippina and is said to have supplied the poison used in the murder of Claudius, the fourth emperor of Rome. She then served the newly crowned Emperor Nero and was involved in the assassination of Nero's half-brother, Britannicus. Locusta is further believed to have been involved in several other assassinations of important figures.

She is the archetypal poisoner in Western nations. The nineteenth-century author Alexandre Dumas père, who penned "The Count of Monte Cristo," frequently compared the character of the poisoner in his novel with Locusta.

A weirdo with too much energy. She has a bizarre obsession with mushrooms. She idolizes Nero and is also friendly to Nero's allies. While she often gets carried away with herself, she is at least cheery and fun to be around. However, she's got more than a few screws loose. As a consequence, she tends to give out poison entirely without malice.

Be wary of her.

The ability to concoct poisons infused with magical energy. Poisons created with this skill cannot be detoxified without the intervention of Mystics. This skill works similarly to Item Construction.

Cooking (Mushroom): B

A technique of cooking ingredients to make delicious dishes. Locusta especially excels at the preparation of mushroom dishes. This skill is derived from her legend of sprinkling poison on a dish, making this one of the ways Locusta applies her poisons.

Hot stewed mushrooms are forcefully served to the target by pouring the mushrooms over them. Obviously, the stew is laced with poison. This attack does not inflict Death, as Locusta is unable to use poison potent enough to kill without Nero's orders.

Farewell, My Beloved Emperor.

The finest poison kept within a small golden box. Locusta put her heart and soul into the making of this poison. It sends the imbiber to their final rest, quietly extinguishing the flame of their life. It was said Nero took this box with her when she fled to the garden in Servilius, but died by her own blade and never had the chance to take the poison inside.

...This drove Locusta mad.

May the great Emperor Nero die in peace. This is Locusta's goal. However, having been consumed by madness, Locusta doesn't realize that that is not her true wish. If only there had been some miracle that led Nero to overcome death... If only Nero had met someone who could have worked such a miracle... Then, and only then, could Locusta open her heart to another.

That's right: Locusta truly wanted that beautiful girl to have lived. Just...lived. She truly wished for Nero to have just lived.
