From spinning to tailoring, she does all herself, and her skill is truly god-tier.

If there's a concert somewhere in the east, she would go in all haste. If there's a handshake event in the west, she would hurry over with gifts in tow. If her favorite idol were ever to wear the clothes she made, she would probably faint on the spot from absolute adoration and shock. Just be careful about that!

The sheer perfection of it is beyond human comprehension, and its beauty and comfort are on par with the Japanese celestial maiden's legend of the "Hagoromo." It is the very epitome of innocence.

The power this clothing possesses is quite simple: it offers hope to the wearer. That is all.

Hope, hope, and more hope. So long as they have hope in their hearts, people can continue on, overcoming fear and adversity of any sort. At least, the clothing gives the wearer cause to believe so.

But creating clothing of that caliber can also be very draining to the creator. Once her masterpiece clothes your form, you are bound to realize: ah, she has flown away, beyond the sunset, leaving a memento of herself...

There are numerous stories about animals repaying favors. They are stories of birds and beasts who are saved by human beings, and they later bring fortune to the human as a way of returning the good deed. One of the most prominent stories in Japan of this type is the "Crane Returns a Favor" story.

Miss Crane's existence is based on the crane from that story. A crane devotes herself to working to repay her savior; she weaves on a loom using feathers she pulled from her own body to use in her work. Should someone see her at work, she transforms into her crane form and leaves the scene. What's different from the folktale is that she is able to keep going by creating clothes using the fabric she weaved. This trait is unique to her appearance here.

Her manifestation occurred under unusual circumstances, and she's traveled around the world. During her travels, she met many people (including some Servants) and they helped her in many ways. She has never forgotten those deeds, and she vowed that she would return all their favors one day.

One day, someone offered her a piece of bread.

Another time, someone offered her a warm bed to sleep on.

Another, someone offered her front-row seat tickets to a concert.

She has never once forgotten any of those deeds.

I shall return all those favors. I will repay them all. Of course for YOU, too.

I was exhausted, and I ran out of magical energy. I could do nothing. This was going to be my end. But perhaps it was always my fate to receive a helping hand whenever I was put in a difficult situation, for I heard a gentle voice. When I looked up, I saw a beautiful face. They looked kind, and they had this casual, unserious demeanor. Yet, they also appeared to be working really hard at something, like they were on a mission. They looked mysterious to me. It’s rare for me to be hesitant around people I meet for the first time. But even when I was feeling flustered, they gently put me under their protection.

I am told that this place is called Chaldea. I hear it is a place that does some very important work, too complicated for me to understand. I have decided to situate myself in a room called “Lostroom.” I’m told it’s a room no one ever approaches or looks inside. Oh, but that skylight...it reminded me of a boarding house in Paris. I will rest my wings here for a while. But...but...oh, my new savior. Allow me to repay you one day. Even if you do not need a new dress, I will use all my magecraft and hard work to grant you your wish.
