Paris

Paris is the younger brother of Hektor, the Trojan Hero and one of the Nine Worthies. Paris stole King Menelaus's wife Helen (admittedly, she had been promised to him by a goddess), which started the Trojan War.

Paris bravely fought alongside Hektor, and he continued on after Hektor's death, even fatally wounding Achilles.

While he is not as his physical peak in this form, Apollo declared "This was when Paris shined the most!" and made it so he would manifest as such.

Paris was born the son of King Priam, but a prophecy declaring that the newly born child would cause Troy's destruction led to him being abandoned at Mt. Ida.

But when Agelaus, the very man who was ordered by the king to abandon Paris, witnessed the baby suckling on the milk of a she-bear to survive, he decided to take the child in and raise it as his own.

As a side note, the name Paris means "sack," which was given to him after he was carried home in a bag.

Paris grew into a handsome man with outstanding intelligence, and one day he was tasked to judge who was the most beautiful among the goddesses Athena, Aphrodite, and Hera.

If chosen, Hera offered kingship and wealth, Athena offered victory and beauty, and Aphrodite promised the love of Helen, the most beautiful woman of Greece. Paris chose Aphrodite as the most beautiful.

However, Helen was already married to King Menelaus, so Paris ultimately ended up absconding with someone else's wife.

The men who once pursued Helen's hand in marriage had all vowed to work together to defend Helen's marriage in the event of her abduction.

Battle then became inevitable, and in the end, Troy would go into war against the Greek allied forces. This would eventually become the Trojan War.

While Paris himself has no access to Independent Action, Apollo, who acts like a guardian spirit, does as he will.

Grace of the God: B

Receives the absolute affection from Apollo. It's a bit of a pain, but Paris somewhat enjoys it.

It's a skill very much like Grace of the Goddess. The extent of the curses is also similar.

It's not only effective against Achilles, but as long as his weakness is exposed, it can even defeat Siegfried, who is strengthened by dragon's blood. However, in conjunction with knowing the enemy's weakness, the target's AGI, LUK, and MP rank also have influence.

Golden Apple of Discord. The Apple of Misfortune.

An apple harboring divine power that brings about discord.

The apple that was supposed to be awarded to the most beautiful goddess ultimately brought about the Trojan War.

The apple itself does not have any destructive power, yet it's an extremely troubling item that brings enormous destruction to both enemies and allies.

To defend against it, LUK and mental resistance are key.

This is not used in FGO.

Purity, innocence, and courage. These aspects of human nature are typically seen as virtues, yet all too often invite criticism and even slander. For better or worse, Paris was an honest man, and he spirited Helen away the moment he heard she was unhappy in her marriage. Some believe he was inspired by the gods, but the act itself was born of his righteousness.

Meanwhile, Paris's older brother Hektor did nothing to stop him, even though he knew his sibling's actions could very well lead to disaster. Hektor understood that, whatever the pretext, war was inevitable, and neither side would concede with their honor at stake.

Paris met a regretful and disappointing end in the Trojan War. Still, his single-minded resolve is apparent in his earnest willingness to do battle rather than sulk over his fate whenever he is summoned.

However, with Paris comes Apollo, which is cause for caution. The god prioritizes Paris's safety above all else, even his Master.
