He is one of the homunculi mass-produced for the purpose of supplying magical energy during that Great Holy Grail War. Under ordinary circumstances, he would simply have died and been discarded once his magical energy was drained. But the determination of this homunculus to survive lead him to obtain Siegfried's power, making him a central figure in the Great Holy Grail War.

A Noble Phantasm that allows temporary transformation into the dragon Fafnir. He then uses a powerful dragon breath attack to inflict catastrophic damage. This Noble Phantasm originates from his turning into a dragon and flying away in his past life.

According to him, there's not much difference between being human and being a dragon.

He has no history of significance.
