A girl from the future of an alternate timeline who participated in a Holy Grail War with Voyager, the final Servant summoned to the world. However, she has no idea what the battle's outcome actually was. Since childhood, she has been possessed by an evil spirit, which appears as a black, sludge-like substance that seeps from the surface of her body. The possession gradually worsened, but she was able to adapt, eventually learning even to control it at will. She named it "Erlkönig."

While she has the advantage of being super sensitive to death and can detect bloodlust, the evil spirit continuously hungers for sacrifices, and will devour Erice's body if left unfulfilled.

As she considers efficiency to be the most important of qualities, she prefers functional and practical tools and outfits that are simplistic yet durable. She prefers spicy and highly nutritious foods, but doesn't care much about flavor. She detests mages, but she considers herself to be a "magecraft user" without seeing the irony.

She is quite knowledgeable of Heroic Spirits from every age and corner of the world, as she pores over reference documents and videos of Heroic Spirits at every given opportunity. And while she leverages her knowledge as she mercilessly carries out her job as a Reaper, she also greatly reveres the Servants' past lives. She holds Servants who were travelers or adventurers who discovered unexplored parts of the world in especially high regard. She may pretend to be composed, saying things like, "Whatever...that was normal in Mosaic City." But in truth, she's super excited about the everyday goings-on of Chaldea...so much so that blood rushes to her head so fast that she gets dizzy from all the excitement.

It is a unique type of magecraft that Erice, who inherited the powers of the underworld, gained after becoming something like a Servant. Using the replicated Shinto shrine object called the "Amenonuboko," she churns space and time to calculate the target's structure, sending everything that encompasses the target—structure, mass, meaning, and even its fate—into primordial chaos. If the target is a Servant, their Spiritron structure is completely nullified. It is a conceptual reversed entropy that returns one to death.
