Is Merlin good?
A Freeze support and one of the best early units. Her Ultimate hits every enemy with Freeze, her Active Freezes the front row and adds DEF shred at Transcendence 3, and her Storm passive gives the whole team crit rate, a rare buff.
With 
Tristan she anchored early healerless CC-chain raid teams, and her Freeze still stops team-wiping boss attacks. Her card is also excellent for magic DPS.
