Background

Park Heejin is a playable Hunter in Solo Leveling: ARISE.

The White Tiger Guild's new hunter. Ever since she was a trainee, she's been able to avoid danger with her exceptionally good instincts and observation skills.

Dossier #01: Her Intuition

"Wait... that bridge looks like it's going to collapse soon."

Park Heejin watched the new hunters she was training with at the mock raid site and wondered whether she should tell them about the danger.

Although magic beasts didn't appear, the training ground was built like a real dungeon.

The goal was safely find a way out of the mock-dungeon.

They were at a point where they had to cross an old bridge that was built over a ravine.

When her fellow hunters stepped onto the bridge, thinking it wasn't a big deal, Park Heejin suddenly noticed something give, ever so slightly, on the structure side of the bridge.

Dossier #02: The Nature of Fate

Park Heejin had exceptionally good instincts from a young age.

She easily sensed even the smallest details, and whenever she took a step back due to an ominous feeling, something would always happen.

However, her hunches weren't always right.

Actually, to be precise, there was no way to know whether she was right or wrong.

If she alerted the people around her due to an ominous feeling she had, they would avoid the coming disaster, but since nothing happened, she had no way of proving that feeling.

So Park Heejin decided to use her particularly good instincts only for herself.

What happens to other people is their fate, and if they go against fate, they could end up in even greater danger.

Dossier #03: The Trainee Who Survived

It was the same this time too.

Her comrades urged her to continue moving because they were aware of the additional points that could only be earned if everyone made it out of the dungeon safely.

However, Park Heejin looked around quietly as if she no intention of moving, and eventually, her team members, who gave up on the additional points, began to cross the bridge without her.

They were crossing the bridge without any issues, but when they reached the halfway point, the bridge collapsed with a loud crash.

The hunters dusted themselves off amidst the moans and groans of their comrades, were declared "Dead" by the supervisors, and were automatically eliminated from the exam.

Dossier #04: Survivor of That Fateful Day

Park Heejin, who hadn't crossed the bridge in the first place, ended up getting a good score.

In addition, she was qualified to participate in the official new hunter raid that would take place after the next training session.

Cold glares and murmurs full of suspicion were aimed at her, but Park Heejin didn't let their reactions get to her.

Even if she gave a lengthy explanation about an ability they couldn't understand, they wouldn't be convinced.

Basically, she had good instincts, that was it.

But after the incident in the Snowy Mountain, she thought it might be better to share her instincts, even if they might not be understood by others.

Never again did she want to flee a dungeon, tail between her legs, unable to even retrieve the corpses of the people she'd been training with.
