Trickcal: Chibi Go battle mechanics

Each stage is composed of one or several waves. A wave divides into a team build phase, and a battle phase.

The team build phase is a section where coins are used for various card purchases to enhance Apostles.

At this time, drag the Apostle to change their position. You can also tap on the Apostle to view their details.

The enemies won't wait forever. When the time limit expires, the battle phase automatically begins. Once you're ready, hit the Start button to launch the battle phase.

The battle phase is the section which your enhanced Apostles fight the monsters.

The Apostles will fight the enemies on their own. If all the Apostles are defeated, or time runs out, you will lose. So watch out for that.

Reach the last wave without losing, and you have won that stage! If you want a more complete victory, check out the missions.

Place Apostles to join you in combat through Deploy Line-up.

Place Apostles one of these set positions: front row, middle row, or back row. Once this line is full, no more Apostles can be added.

From Grade 4, use very powerful Senior Skills.

Use the senior skill immediately during the battle phase by tapping on it. Use the skill again when cooldown expires.

During the battle, Today's Apostle will appear at the start of the stage. Today's Fortune appears as the wave extends.

Coins and Apostles materialize from Today's Apostle. Apostles may appear multiple times.

Fortunate Cards and Unfortunate Cards materialize from Today's Fortune. As the names suggest, Fortunate Cards gives advantageous effects, while Unfortunate Cards gives adverse effects.

Colorful cards are cheaper than regular Apostle cards. But then again, they are extremely charming but fatal.

The Apostle's grade can either go up or down. I hope you have some good luck.

As the monsters are eliminated, they may drop notable items. These are called battle items.

Battle items add exciting variables to combat with their various effects. Detailed effects can be found at the Encyclopedia at the Archives.

Using Buffs that apply beneficial effects to allies or Debuffs that apply harmful effects on enemies can make it easier to handle combat.

DOT Status Effects continuously inflict damage and apply additional effects.

The Groggy effect cancels and interrupts enemy actions or renders them unable to act.

Buffs and Debuffs are divided into removable and unremovable effects.

These are the Basic Stats of Apostles and Monsters.

Increase CRIT to aim for more powerful Damage.

If you're strong enough, try taking on just the final wave! When your Line-up's Combat Power is well above the stage's Combat Power recommendation, you can enable Quick Combat Mode. Quick Combat Mode only runs the final wave.

Every Apostle carries a personality.

Since different personalities have different compatibilities, a hit from a stronger one will hurt more.

When the same personalities are together, they become stronger through synergy.

Gather cards and enhance them! You can use coins to purchase cards and use them. Of course, you will enjoy greater effects when you have better cards.

You can enhance a card once you collect multiple copies of it. Once you gather the necessary number of copies, you can level it up.

As the card's Star Rating advances, it exhibits a greater effect, which is advantageous when tackling dungeons of high difficulty.

If you obtain cards that have reached the maximum level, they will be exchanged for Card Crystals.

Gathering multiple cards may reduce the chance of drawing the card you want during combat. Exclude unwanted cards through Card Management.

Manage the cards by selecting Use / Do Not Use in Card Management Set cards not frequently used to Do Not Use. If you've already set up a similar configuration in another preset, press Load to apply it directly.

Unused cards will be displayed as images. Let's obtain a lot of good cards and use them effectively in battle!

A Favorite Card is a special card that a certain Apostle likes. This card has a golden glow!

Favorite Artifacts provide more powerful abilities to the Apostles who favor them, and Favorite Runes become more powerful when the Apostles who favor them are deployed. You can check which Apostle favors the card in the card information!

Tap the Favorite Effect button to see the powerful effects of the Favorite Artifact. Increase the card's Star Rating to unlock these powerful effects.

Weld your cards to become even more powerful! Welding is a way to advance your card one stage further.

To Weld you'll need the required currency and gold. The amount needed varies depending on the Weld Stage.

Draw a card to get Spell and Artifact cards.

If you draw a Pick Up card, you'll obtain Card Devotion. You can exchange Card Devotions for Pick Up Cards or Crystal Drops. You can obtain Crystal Drops through normal card gachas.
