Air Groove's original Empress Road kit leans toward debuffing, which matters little outside certain Champions Meeting races, so early on she mostly covers Sprint as one of the few high-aptitude Sprinters you start with, then moves to Mile until better runners arrive. Her Wedding outfit (Quercus Civilis) is a Mile Pace Chaser with more speed skills, handy for Team Trials but squeezed by stronger Mile runners like Taiki Shuttle in competitive modes.

Air Groove is recognized as a strict, responsible, and reliable Umamusume by the other students of Tracen Academy.

She is as hard on others as she is on herself, and often has a sharp and formal manner of speaking.

However, Air Groove is friendly and lighthearted when the situation allows her to be.

She's secretly somewhat of a romantic and is flustered when the softer sides of her are noticed.
