Aston Machan (Flare) is a top Front Runner for Sprint and an excellent legacy parent for other Sprint front-runners. The Unique gives both velocity and acceleration with a remaining-400m timing that suits 1200m tracks, which is why she beats the usual rule that Pace Chasers win Sprint Champions Meetings.

She has Groundwork innately along with two of the three skills needed to trigger it, strong Sprint velocity skills from Potential, and Mile skills from her hidden events.

Appearance

Aston Machan has short, messy brown hair that reaches a little past her chin which becomes wavier at the ends.

Her fringe is cut unevenly with the middle part swept slightly to the left.

A portion of her hair is tied back on the left side of her head with a red scrunchie.

Her ears are loosely upwards and fades into a dark brown.

On the left side of her ear are two heart-shaped checkered earrings with the top one being red and the one below blue.

Sitting on the back of her head opposite from her ponytail is an emperor-styled crown with a golden trim and a triangular pattern with charcoal and red colors.

Her soft, lime colored eyes are slightly down turned.

Her racing outfit consists of a white dress shirt with red sleeves and black cuffs.

On top of that is a tan-colored vest with four black buttons.

A black bow rests on her dress shirt collar.

Her tan skirt is composed of two layers, with the top being short and gathered and the one below pleated with a red line running around it.

On both sides of the upper skirt are red bows that sit below a charcoal colored martingale belt with a golden trim.

Above the bows are smaller ones with red and charcoal stripes.

Starting from her shoulder, a sash runs down her torso ending with a red bow with a golden trim.

It is decorated in occasional golden emblems.

Attached to the sash below is a charm. She wears black stockings that cover half of her thigh.

Her shoes are white loafer heels with a charcoal colored bow on top.

"I'm Aston Machan. As-ton Ma-chan. Don't go forgetting now, okay?

Aiming to be a mascot. An ephemeral eccentric girl.

Mysterious and spacey, this racer's eccentricities know no bounds.

She records voice memos in her free time, and she always makes sure to bring a Machan doll wherever she goes - just in case the cameras start rolling around this soon-to-be world-famous mascot.

Still, could there be a deeper reason behind her mysterious ways?

Daiwa Scarlet - Friend and classmate. They both get along well, and Scarlet sees her as a notable rival.

Scarlet also shows concern for her at times, like when Machan disappears from time to time.

Machan appreciates her friendship, and makes her participate in the films she makes.

With Machan photobombing in every camera she sees, Scarlet and Vodka do their best to keep her out of trouble.

Vodka - Friend and classmate. While they didn't get to race each other much, Vodka admires the fact that Machan chooses her own path, with Machan choosing to run in shorter distances, while Vodka chooses to run in the Japanese Derby instead of the Japanese Oaks.

Vodka and Aston Machan had a rivalry in real life, racing against each other in the Hanshin Juvenile Fillies and the Oka Sho.

Vodka placed first in the former while Machan lost by a neck, while the two placed second and seventh respectively in the Oka Sho, both losing to Daiwa Scarlet.

IRL, Aston Machan, Daiwa Scarlet and Vodka were known as the "big three" of the 2007 Classic filly racers.

The two raced against each other in the 2007 Oka Sho, which Daiwa Scarlet won.

As Aston Machan focused more on sprint races after the Oka Sho, the two did not race against Aston Machan ever again before her passing.

North Flight - Friend and roommate. Flight makes outfits for Machan's dolls, which Machan likes.

Dream Journey - Friend. Both of them shop for perfume together.

Dream Journey also finds Machan's creativity intriguing and fascinating.

IRL, both were a part of the 2007 Classics generation, but did not race against each other, as Machan was suited for shorter distances while Journey was much better in longer distances.

Curren Chan - Friend. Because of their names, the two have formed the "Chanchan Alliance".

Curren also showcases a Machan doll in one of her streams as a nod to this alliance.

Gentildonna - Friend. Gentildonna finds Machan's photobombing in her interviews amusing.

She looks forward to seeing Machan achieving her goal of being an immortal mascot, as she sees her unapologetic determination to achieve this as strong.

IRL, both of them were trained by Sei Ishizaka.

Twin Turbo - Friend. They both like to video edit together, and they make videos together with plushies they have.

Machan also affectionately calls Turbo "Ta-chan".

Yamanin Zephyr - Friend. Together, they form the "Mazepha" alliance, and they get along well.

On occasion, they do streams together.

Sweep Tosho - Friend. Sweep thinks that Machan is a witch, because she talks to animals and even inanimate objects.

Sweep thinks that is cool, and offers to make Machan her apprentice.

Machan goes along with her belief in magic.
