Appearance

No Reason is an umamusume who has dark brown hair.

She wears a red headband which extends down on the sides.

She also has an ear decoration on her right ear.

She has bright yellow eyes.

Yaeno Muteki: Roommate.

IRL: Both were winners of Satsuki Sho, with Yaeno Muteki won it in 1988 before No Reason did the same 14 years later.

Biography

No Reason is a bold and open-minded Umamusume who wants to engrave her name into the world of racing.

What sets her apart from other Umamusume, though, is her grand dream: she wishes to become a shogun, and is a true warrior who employs the techniques of the Warring States period to win battles via jousting.

...Though, apparently she is prone to making big mistakes.

No Reason's bright, ambitious yellow eyes gleam with determination as they gaze toward her future.

Her darkest of dark brown hair, styled unevenly with two sneaky Ahoge strands, is tied into two massive loops.

Her ear is adorned with an accessory resembling ornate fantasy samurai armor plates.

Tied across her forehead is her custom red Hachimaki (鉢巻) proudly emblazoned with an emblem and the Fusa of Shimenawa (標縄) hanging on each side of her face.

She dons a blazing red and blue samurai robe, adorned with Shimenawa ropes that separates the red into white at the hem.

At its center is a striking blue Hiyoku featuring wave patterns—a motif closely tied to samurai tradition.

Her shoulders and arms are protected by red armor plates.

Beneath the robe lies a red dress bearing her emblem and cinched at the waist is an obi rope.

Below the waist, her armor continues with protective plates covering her knees, shins, and feet.

Another obi rope ties her shin guards. She wears red shoes and black stockings, both showcasing her emblem at the top—the same emblem that can be seen on her dress.

Yaeno Muteki - Friend and roommate.

Tanino Gimlet - Friend and rival. No Reason views Tanino Gimlet as a rival she must defeat at any means necessary, and Gimlet is intrigued by No Reason's boldness.

However, when Gimlet gets injured after the Japanese Derby, No Reason is angered by the fact that she cannot race with her anymore, showing a close rivalry.

Symboli Kris S - Friend and rival. No Reason also views Symboli Kris S as a formidable rival, and gets upset when Kris S runs in the Tenno Sho (Autumn) instead of the Kikuka Sho.

Hishi Miracle - Friend, classmate and rival.

No Reason relates to Hishi Miracle, as they are both "underdogs" in the racing world.

No Reason sees the potential and strength in Hishi Miracle, and they both train together.

No Reason also brings out the confidence in Hishi Miracle, and Hishi Miracle begins to believe in herself with No Reason's help.

Durandal - Friend. Though they have not raced each other due to taking different paths, they are good friends and get along due to their eccentric behaviors.

No Reason goes along with Durandal's belief of being a knight.

IRL, No Reason, Durandal, Hishi Miracle, Symboli Kris S, and Tanino Gimlet were all a part of the 2002 generation.

Narita Brian - Friend and upperclassman.

Despite No Reason's eccentric personality clashing with hers, Narita Brian sees the strength in her.

When Brian watched No Reason win the Satsuki Sho, it reminded her of her own Satsuki Sho win back then.

Dantsu Flame - Friend. No Reason connects with her as a fellow "underdog", and encourages her to get stronger.

Introduced by Hishi Miracle, Dantsu Flame gets along well with No Reason, and Dantsu also finds No Reason's attitude to be admirable in her own way.

Phalaenopsis - Friend.

IRL, No Reason, Dantsu Flame, Narita Brian, and Phalaenopsis were all sired by Brian's Time.

Tanino Gimlet was also sired by Brian's Time.
