The Weresharks are a group of mutated creatures in deep-sea, growing around the gloomy seabed.

They are brutal and murderous, often attacking humans and other marine creatures.

Maul is the leader of the Weresharks and the strongest warrior of them all.

Undoubtedly, he is one of the deep-sea creatures that people living on land are most afraid of.

However, Maul's ears keep echoing the ancient and evil murmur that, according to the shoal's priests, is the call of the Ancient God, and the only power that could resist it is in the far north.

In a molten world beneath the blue waves, Maul's cold blood has been replaced with searing magma, and his flaming trident cuts through the deep so swiftly it leaves entire swathes of ocean boiling in its wake.

This is one flame the sea cannot quench.

Aye, should Maul have chosen revenge instead of redemption, he'd be known today as the Volcanic Trident.

For this time, Maul does not seek to lift the curse, but instead embraces it, and after storming the sea witch's lair once more, he skewers her with her own prized piece, absorbing its inner fire and instantaneously consuming himself.

Today he lurks deep in the trenches of Tya's oceans, camouflaged by the steam pouring off of his blazing trident.

Should you be foolish enough to seek him out, you'd need only follow the trail of half-cooked corpses lying on the seabed, unfortunate enough to have crossed his infernal path.
