1. Scene 1
11 linesThere you are... I was thinkin' it was about time you showed up, Aldo.
What is this place?
It's exactly what it looks like. It's a bar. Think of it as a refuge for those who've lost their way.
It appears to be incongruous with this environment.
What's a bar like this doing in a time like now you mean? What can I say, I've been into outlandish places since I can remember.
Master, you knew Aldo's name and that he would be coming. Have you two met before, perchance?
In a way, we've never met. And yet, you might say we know each other all too well... You wouldn't "remember" me, exactly. Just think of me as an old friend.
I don't really get it, but okay. You don't seem like a bad guy to me. Can you tell us how to get out of here? I need to make it back to my own time. My sister's been kidnapped, and there are all kinds of other problems springing up.
No place like home, right? All you need is a strong will and you'll find your way back. Have you seen the pillars of light on the road outside? They're connected to disruptions throughout time and space. One of them'll get you home for sure.
Wow. Thanks, mister.
You might want to have a talk with Lady Midd over there before you go. She's a tough old bird, and wise, too. Believe me, you're gonna need all the help you can get in the days to come.
