Cygnet leans hard on evasion. Her skill can raise the whole fleet's evasion for a stretch, and a self-invincibility skill helps her survive despite being a frontline vanguard ship. None of that shows up until she's modernized though: before then her stats are low and she doesn't even have the evasion buff yet, so she's mostly worth using in a Royal Navy fleet where Queen Elizabeth can prop up her weak base stats.

Cygnet has almost no historical references tied to her character.

However, her history is near identical to her sisters, Comet and Crescent.

She spent some time in the Red Sea during the Abyssinia Crisis of 1935-1936.

Then, she did escort duty for a short time before being transferred to the Canadian Navy.

There, she was refitted for anti-submarine warfare and sent on patrols.

After the war, she was scrapped.
