Is Tanikaze good?
A torpedo destroyer with one of the best torpedo stats in the game, strong enough to deal damage without any buffs. Before retrofit her skill only works when she's the last Vanguard ship standing, raising her evasion and cutting airstrike damage, which suits one-ship Vanguard farming. Retrofit adds a skill where her torpedo hits can make the target take more torpedo damage, and that helps torpedo-heavy teammates like 
Ayanami and 
Jintsuu burn down bosses.
It needs a lot of her torpedoes to connect, so it's weak on auto and best when you save up the Vanguard's torpedoes and fire them together by hand.
