...It is over.
All is lost.
Authority has fallen. Order shattered to pieces.
Illusions dispelled. The farce of power reclaims its mantle atop society.
My shrieks and pleas fall upon deaf ears.
How did we stumble upon this ending?
Was it our proposed answer, and eventual obstruction, to the ascetic's path?
Or perhaps my attempt to define this world under a singular genre?
Or could it have been... Could I have unintentionally dismissed a crucial Sign, foreshadowing our doom, as a mere MacGuffin?
Such pondering holds value no longer.
For the Signs are beyond my reach now.
I shall fade into insignificance in the backdrop of this world as the Anonymous Bystander.
...Oh, telescreen.
My story is concluded.
Please, sing a tale of your own.
...!
Preposterous! Utterly preposterous...
Is this what you claim as logic?
Your ludicrous sentiments demand that green be blue, and blue be green.
What role could the Chroma play in this circus?
...Halt.
I see. Yes! Yes!
Proceed! Continue your sermon!
Fascinating. Interesting...
Authority has fallen, and yet it still clings to the precipice.
Rather... Rather, it has become the right of all.
The waves of the telescreen blur the boundary between real and unreal. Shadows no longer plead for discovery. For we ourselves are the Idea.

Will it restore the shattered authority and grant true power?

AH. AHH, AH!
At last! The longings of my soul are within my grasp!
I need not pursue the Signs! For the Signs prostrate themselves before me!
Come, oh sweet reality.
Here you are!! Fold yourself into my embrace!
