Is Jolder good?
Jolder is currently the only 5-star Defense character available, and her Super lets her lock down a point almost by herself. Paired with a decent Support she becomes very hard to kill, and with good Rage management she doesn't even need healing to hold the line.
That combination of durability and point control is what puts her at S.

4Barrier of Starlight
SuperCreates a spherical shield that can block enemy projectiles and provide a powerful Overshield to protect allies within.
Thorns
PassiveJolder accumulates Rage whenever she or the Barrier of Starlight is attacked. Casting Skyfall Rage into Slam will convert all accumulated health regeneration that lasts for 8s. This effect heals for a base amount of 23 health per second. The more Rage she has, the faster she will regenerate health. When Rage is full, Jolder recovers an additional 62 health per second. If Jolder has an Overshield, 100% of overflow healing will be converted into Overshield. Rage will begin to gradually fade when Convalescence is triggered.
Skyfall Slam
Signature 1Jump and smash targets with the shield, inflicting them with Taunt and Suppression. Affected targets provide significantly more Rage upon attacking Jolder.
Shield of Starlight
Signature 2Throws a Shield of Starlight that ricochets between enemies, striking them quickly and accumulating Starlight. Recalling the shield will convert the Starlight it has accumulated into an Overshield
