You can edit the team you wish to take with you on Quests in the Team menu.
You can choose up to 6 characters per team.
Characters that have an identical name and second name cannot be included on the same team (certain characters excluded).
Any empty character slots on the team will be filled with Saibaimen during battle.
Copying Popular Teams
Under the "Popular" tab on the "Clear Record" screen, you can check the Popular Teams that other players frequently used to clear the stage. Furthermore, you can copy and save them to your list of teams.
In addition, you can check the label on the character icon to check a character's recruitment or growth status.
Check the formations of the Popular Teams if you are having trouble clearing a stage!
*** Please note that the "Popular" tab will not be displayed in certain events.
Please also note that this feature only allows you to copy the team formation. It is not a feature where you can borrow characters from other players or a feature that guarantees clearing a stage.**
Training
Perform "Training" to obtain Character EXP. Strength up your characters by obtaining EXP and leveling up.
The instructions for "Training" are as follows:
Step 1: Select a Training Character to Train Step 2: Select a Training Location Step 3: Select Training Partners and Training Items (choose either one or both)
Required Zeni for "Training" When you choose to train with Training Partners, the required amount of Zeni will vary according to the level of Training Character. When you choose to train with Training Items, the required amount of Zeni will vary depending on the kinds of Training Items, regardless of the level of Training Character.
Undergo Training with only Training Items!
Button for Random Training Partners Tapping the Random button for training partners automatically sets up to 5 characters with a rarity of N or R.
Auto Button for Training Items By tapping the Auto button, Training Items will be selected automatically based on the amount of EXP required to level up the character to the max level. Up to 50 Training Items of the same Type will be set automatically (10 for each kind of item, and up to 5 kinds). If you don't have enough Training Items for your selected character to reach the max level, items will be set automatically to get the character as close to max level as possible. Training Location effects are also taken into account.
Raising Super Attack Level Raising a character's Super Attack level increases the Super Attack power. To raise Super Attack level, select specific characters as Training Partners. By selecting those characters, there is a chance of leveling up the Super Attack even if the Training Partner's and Training Character's second names are different.
There are two ways to raise Super Attack level. The chance of a Super Attack level-up is displayed when selecting a Training Partner.
If you select a character from the same growth path as a Training Partner, the Training Partner's Super Attack level will be added to the Training Character's Super Attack level.
The chances are counted separately for each Training Partner, and each Training Partner can only raise the Super Attack level by 1, regardless of the Training Partner's Super Attack level.
Switch Button Tap the Switch button to toggle between "Until Next Level" and "Until Max Level".
Same Type Bonus
Using Training Partners or Training Items of the same Type as the Training Character will grant an extra 50% EXP.
In addition, there is a chance of obtaining bonus EXP when the result of training is Big Success, Great Success or Super Success.
Please note that the Training Partners, Training Items and Training Locations (except for Wasteland) used in Training will be consumed.
Max Growth
By tapping the "Max Growth" button, the Training Location, Training Partners and Training Items will be automatically selected for the character to reach the max level.
Other Notes
Hidden Potential will not be passed on even if the characters you used as Training Partners have it activated.
Awakening
You can increase a character's stats through Awakening.
There are five types of Awakening: 1. Awakening 2. Z-Awakening 3. Dokkan Awakening 4. Extreme Z-Awakening 5. Super Extreme Z-Awakening
Numbers 3, 4 and 5 are only available to certain characters.
The following explanation applies to number 1 (Awakening) only.
Awakening requires Awakening Medals and Zeni, and the required quantity varies by character.
Touch the icon of the Awakening Medals that you wish to use, and then touch the "Awakening" icon to awaken the character.
A character doesn't get any EXP from "Awakening." However, you can perform an Awakening regardless of the character's level. Once you have collected the required Medals, You can perform an Awakening right away!
Z-Awakening
By Z-Awakening your characters, you can greatly increase their stats.
Also, the character's Rarity will be upped, their Type will be enhanced and their max level will be increased.
Z-Awakening can take place only when: 1: The character's level is at maximum 2: All the required Awakening Medals have been obtained 3: The required amount of Zeni has been obtained
The character's Super Attack level will be carried over after Z-Awakening.
Extreme Z-Awakening
Extreme Z-Awakening raises the limit of a character's max level and its Super Attack level, allowing a character to become even more powerful.
The Awakening Medals required for Extreme Z-Awakening each character is different. You can get the required Awakening Medals in the corresponding Extreme Z-Battle.
Check the Awakening screen after Extreme Z-Awakening to see how much a character has powered up!
Note: Characters must be at their max level before they can be Extreme Z-Awakened.
Super Extreme Z-Awakening
Certain characters can be Super Extreme Z-Awakened after Extreme Z-Awakening.
After Super Extreme Z-Awakening, a character's Passive Skill will change. In addition, an exclusive effect will be applied to the character's icon on the "Character List".
The Awakening Medals required for Super Extreme Z-Awakening differ between characters. You can get the required Awakening Medals in Lv. SUPER of the corresponding Extreme Z-Battle.
Check the Awakening screen after Super Extreme Z-Awakening to see how much a character has powered up!
Characters must undergo the final step of Extreme Z-Awakening before they can be Super Extreme Z-Awakened.
Dokkan Awakening
By Dokkan Awakening, you can push the potential of a character to a whole new level!
Dokkan Awakening requires the following: 1. A max level Z-Awakened character. 2. All necessary Awakening Medals. 3. The necessary amount of Zeni.
A Dokkan Awakened character will be treated as a new character, which means the character's level will revert to 1. (The character's Super Attack level will be carried over.)
After Dokkan Awakening, characters can be leveled up or Z-Awakened once more for even greater power.
Please note that Dokkan Awakened characters generally cannot be reverted to their pre-awakened state.
Some characters cannot be Z-Awakened after Dokkan Awakening.
Favorites
By adding a character to "Favorite", you can prevent the character from being used as a Training Partner, sold or exchanged for Trade Points at Baba's Shop.
Tap the lock icon on the top right corner of the character details page to favorite or un-favorite a character.
Characters you have favorited will be marked with a lock icon in your character list.
Special Characters
There are characters who cannot be removed from "Favorite" unless certain conditions are met.
The condition(s) can be checked by tapping the lock icon.
Potential Orbs
Potential Orbs are required to activate a character's Hidden Potential. As a general rule, you will need an orb of the same Type as the character's Type.
There are three orb sizes: small (S), medium (M), and large (L). As you progress in activating a character's Hidden Potential, the size of Potential Orbs required will change.
You can obtain Potential Orbs through various means, including earning them as rewards or collecting them in the Limited-Attempts Event "Activate Your Hidden Potential".
Forgetting Optional Skills
Some nodes give you the choice to activate one of several optional Hidden Potential Skills. The items required to activate each skill are the same, but the number of levels raised may differ.
Once you've learned an optional skill, you can forget it by tapping its node again.
Relearning a skill you've forgotten also requires Potential Orbs, just like when you first learned it.
The nodes with optional skills are marked with a star.
Growth Categories
There are four categories by which you can strengthen a character, with each category branching in a different direction on the board.
1. Balance Extends to the upper-left. Well-balanced development of ATK, DEF and other stats, with optional Hidden Potential Skills at the end of the additional route.
2. Offense Extends to the upper-right. Develop a character's ATK.
3. HP & Defense Extends to the lower-left. Develop a character's HP and DEF.
4. High Growth Extends to the lower-right. Boosted development of both ATK and DEF, with optional Hidden Potential Skills at the end of the additional route. However, you can only activate nodes on this route if the Super Attack is above a certain level.
Lastly, strengthening a character by activating the Hidden Potential is different for each character, so the above information may not always apply.
Unlocking Additional Routes
You may run into roadblocks while activating a character's Hidden Potential. To get past these obstacles and move on to further nodes, you must use specific characters.
When you unlock an additional route, the block will change to a regular stat node that can be activated with Potential Orbs.
An additional route can be unlocked even if the nodes leading up to it are not yet activated.
The four icons on the top-right of the screen indicate the locked/unlocked status of additional routes.
Tapping one of these icons will jump straight to the place where an additional route can be unlocked.
HP Node
Activating this node with Potential Orbs raises a character's HP.
In general, routes extending to the upper left develop HP, ATK, and DEF in a well-balanced manner. With routes extending to the lower right, you can only activate nodes when a character's Super Attack has reached a certain level, but higher growth can be expected.
*The size and quantity of Potential Orbs required as well as the stats to be boosted differ by node.
ATK Node
Activating this node with Potential Orbs raises a character's ATK.
With routes extending to the upper right, ATK-focused growth can be expected.
