Sakatoku Aki

Sakatoku Aki (酒德亚纪) was an agent of the Execution Bureau and the sister of Sakatoku Mai.

Biography

Born in Japan, she studied in Cassell College and worked in the Execution Bureau after graduating.

She met and fell in love with her colleague Ye Sheng, but kept her love as a secret, since the bureau wouldn't allow emotionally compromised agents to work together.

The two were perceived by everyone as a natural pair and were very cooperative with each other.

Aki committed herself to be the most supportive person in Ye Sheng's life.

She seemed to have a poor relationship with her sister Mai, who saw Aki as "an ugly duckling who unnecessarily humbled herself down".

In 0 BD, Aki and Ye Sheng accompanied Guderian and Nono to interview Lu Mingfei in China.

After that, they left on a secret mission to explore the submerged ancient City of Bronze, where they managed to retrieve the copper vase that contained Constantine, and the case that guarded the Seven Deadly Sins.

The pair awakened the city's defenses, and Aki witnessed an apparition that took Ye Sheng's shape to earn her trust and attack her.

When a dragon servitor started chasing them, Ye Sheng stayed behind to give Aki more time and oxygen to reach the surface.

Before she left, they kissed and declared their love for one another.

After Aki managed to deliver the vase to the college's agents, the dragon servitor devoured her before she could board the ship.
