Erii is an SSR Spirit character in Dragon Raja : ReRise. Erii's role is Dps. Faction: Yamata no Orochi.

Uesugi Erii

Uesugi Erii (上杉绘梨衣, Hiragana: ええい) is a major character in Dragon Raja III - Black Moon Tide.

Erii was a test tube baby created by Herzog in Black Swan Bay using Uesugi Koeru's genes.

After being taken by Bondarev to Japan, Herzog recovered her along with her brother Chisei and made them patriarchs in the council of the Yamata no Orochi.

Erii was an extremely unstable hybrid and was only capable of speaking draconic language.

She was treated like a monster for most of her life, so she decided to emotionally isolate herself.

Growing frustrated by her imprisonment, Erii made it a habit to escape from the Orochi's headquarters, worrying her brother Chisei.

She was used as a last resort weapon during Cassell's mission at the bottom of the Japanese Trench, where she got rid of an army of dragon corpses.

After Lu Mingfei confused her with Nono, Erii felt loved for the first time in her life and quickly developed feelings for the young hybrid.

Mingfei helped her escape from the Orochi's headquarters and introduced her to Caesar Gattuso and Chu Zihang, who considered her too valuable to be left in the hands of the Orochi families.

Lu Mingze started an operation called "Tokyo Love Story" that had the sole purpose of making her fall in love with Mingfei.

While Mingfei took Erii outside to see the world, they were ambushed by the Oni Clan, forcing Erii to unleash her lethal Yanling on a street full of gangsters.

Caesar and Zihang instructed Mingfei to take Erii out of the country, but he feared for her health and sent her back to Chisei, who tried to get her out of the country as well.

She was instead captured by Herzog, who infected her with the parasite of Izanami and turned himself into the new White Emperor, killing her in the process.

After avenging her death, Mingfei inherited all of her belongings.

Her death became the biggest regret in his life.

Appearance

In the original serialized version of the novel, Erii was portrayed with black hair.

In the final book version, she is now described as looking almost identical to Nono, with deep rose eyes and dark red hair.

Her body is thin and she's mostly unaware of how her looks are perceived by others.

Many characters are fascinated by her beauty.

She is a fan of anime and video games, and she wears an outfit that is of, if not similar to, a miko's.

Biography

Background

Erii was one of the tens of thousands of test-tube babies made by Herzog using Uesugi Koeru's blood, which contained the genes of the White Queen Izanami.

After the fall of Black Swan Bay, Bondarev took her to Japan.

Herzog found her still in embryonic state in a small Japanese town, along with Chisei and Chime, her older siblings.

He brought Chisei back with him to Tokyo, leaving Chime behind, and under the Identity of Masamune Tachibana, he named Erii the matriarch of the Uesugi family at the council of the Yamata no Orochi.

Erii was only capable of speaking in draconic.

Her Yanling skill "Judgement" was very deadly; to avoid killing anyone with her speech, she communicated by using sign language and a small whiteboard.

A lack of interaction with the real world led her to maintain the personality of a child, making her too innocent for her age, to the point of ignoring the implications of nudity, much to Chisei and Tachibana's annoyance.

In order to keep her from losing control, she received periodic injections.

This serum was derived from the blood of Death Servitors.

She served the eight families as their secret weapon.

Unable to form relationships and feared by most of her peers, Erii stopped herself from developing feelings for others, as well as any other form of attachment.

Her closest friend was her brother Chisei, head of the Gen family.

When she was a child, Chisei met her at the hospital, where she spent most of her days.

Chisei felt bad for Erii and he gave her the Nintendo DS console that he originally bought for Chime, which sparked Erii's lifelong interest in video games.

They often played Samurai Shodown 2 and Chisei used to win every match.

They would always say goodbye to each other by tapping on the opposite sides of her room's shoji wall.

Erii found it difficult to adapt to changing conditions and her volatile psychological status prompted the Orochi families to perfectly re-create her childhood home inside of the Genji Heavy Industries tower.

She grew bored and tired of her enclosure at the building, since she wasn't allowed to visit the outside world.

She found an escape route through the water purification systems and used it to get out and wander around Tokyo.

She escaped 11 times, for Chisei it started to feel like a habit.

Mission at the Japanese trench.

In march of 2 ABD, soon before the start of the operation in the Japanese Trench, Erii was taken by Tachibana on his boat, where she took a bath on the way.

The patriarch hurried her to get ready and prevented her from sneaking a PSP game console onto her inflatable boat.

Erii was instructed to wait above the suspected location of Izanami's embryo and kill anything on sight.

After the mission failed an army of dragon corpses surfaced, and they prepared to attack her.

Erii wielded a sword and pointed it at the ancient hybrids, simply ordering them to die, and they were swiftly executed on the spot.

Erii calmed the turbulent oceans and froze them, then she created a giant ice cross in the skies out of thin air and took out a big portion of the corpse army in one blow, along with the corpse of a giant dragon servant.

Caesar Gattuso and his team miraculously survived, but the Trieste was damaged and got destroyed in the process.

About to drown, Lu Mingfei confused her silhouette with Nono's and swam towards her, embracing the girl and making her feel loved for the first time in her life.

She used "Don't Die" to cure his wounds, gave him oxygen mouth-to-mouth and put a breathing helmet on his head.

Leaving home

In order to help Mingfei to cope with Nono's wedding, Lu Mingze instructed Su Enxi and Sakatoku Mai to manipulate Erii and Mingfei so they could fall in love.

After learning of the girl's unstable condition, they believed that Mingze's true intentions were to push Mingfei into a desperate situation.

The next day, Erii played video games with Chisei and finally managed to defeat him in a match, making her realize he was distracted.

Chisei promised to take her out to wander around Tokyo and she promised to behave properly.

That night, Tachibana decided to pass down his position to Chisei, and Erii, like every other patriarch, voted in his favor.

A few days later, Genji Heavy Industries was expecting a visit from the Tokyo police department as a consequence of their war with the Oni Clan, which set the staff and workers in a hurry to hide, transfer and delete compromising documents.

This chaos allowed Caesar and Zihang to sneak into the hall of murals, while Lu Mingze guided Mingfei to Erii's room.

The earthquake let a swarm of mermaid servitors loose in the building, but Erii had no issues getting rid of them.

She took a bath and started brushing her teeth when Mingfei arrived, and he decided to stay by her side after he witnessed her killing servitors.

Erii asked Mingfei to help her escape before Chisei came back and put some figurines and toys in a box to take them with her.

The death servitors were so scared of her that they didn't dare to come close, yet she killed them simply because Mingfei didn't like them.

When she asked for his name, he decided to give his host name instead: Sakura.

Mingfei got her to the roof and closed the door behind them, he bought Erii a can of hot coffee while she contemplated the city under the rain.

Before the cadres of the Orochi broke the door, a police helicopter hired by Su Enxi arrived and rescued them.

Befriending Mingfei

Erii took Lu Mingfei to a love hotel, apparently unaware of the place's purpose and they played video games all night.

Mingfei was aware of her nature and was terrified of her, he called Caesar and Zihang the following morning to observe her from a building across the street and decide what to do.

Erii stood up to take a bath and started undressing on the spot, prompting Caesar to quickly close the shutters.

Coming to the conclusion that Mingfei was the only thing keeping Erii's psychology stable, it was decided that he would take care of her.

Tokyo Love Story

Enxi and Mai were frustrated with Mingfei's lack of romantic initiative, so they started Operation Tokyo Love Story, requesting people from the whole country to create romantic situations for them under the pretense of a reality show.

The plan only worked because Erii was eager to explore the world.

Mai received a Philosopher Stone Bullet in case Erii lost control, since her power was strong enough to eradicate every life form in Tokyo.

First, Mingfei took Erii to a beauty salon to get a haircut, a change of clothes and a day at Disneyland.

Every single shopkeeper that they met was recruited by Mai and Enxi, so they gave the pair big discounts and recommendations.

Erii tried and bought many different changes of clothes, and she constantly smiled while spinning in front of the mirror; for the first time in her life, she realized that she was beautiful.

During their trips, Erii collected postcards of the places they visited, and wrote about her experiences with Mingfei on the back.

At the Chateau hotel, Mingfei ran into his family, and they joined them for dinner since their reservations were mixed up by the restaurant, all according to Lu Mingze's plans.

Kaguya was alerted of their presence and the police department swarmed the area.

They attempted to escape but they were met by Osho, who used the wood clappers to put both Erii and Mingfei under his control.

While Erii was terrified of Osho, Mingfei experienced an enormous level of fierce and violent tendencies.

They boarded a Lamborghini and drove away, but they were caught up to by gangsters who were looking for Erii.

Mingfei fought back, constantly regenerating his body with "Don't Die" until he was overwhelmed.

Erii got back on her feet and used Judgement on the gangsters, killing 76 people in the street.

It was never known to Mingfei if all of Erii's victims were gangsters or not.

Mingfei fell into a coma, and he had a dream where he married Erii, but the priest asked him if he was sure about it.

His doubts surfacing, he released her hand and Erii combusted into flames, burning like a puppet doll.

He then reflected on his incapacity to let go of Nono.

Back to Tokyo.

Erii took Mingfei back to the love hotel, where she took a bath in the tub.

Her body was covered in black veins and her ankles already showed scales.

Among other signs of draconization, the wood clappers left her with a constant feeling of fear.

Zihang insisted that Mingfei take Erii back to China on a ferry, but Mingfei feared for Erii's health, believing that her body was too frail and unstable to hold on for a whole week without losing control.

The next day, he rented a Porsche and took Erii to Teramachi, the location of the final scene of his favorite diorama: Tokyo Love Story.

Erii asked question after question about the outside world, expecting fictional things and places from her favorite anime series to be real, but Mingfei denied all of them.

They stayed there until the sun went down and they finally embraced, allowing Mingfei to realize that she was in love with him.

After this, he allowed Erii to go back to her family, taking her to board a train and calling Chisei so he could pick her up.

She was put under intensive care and received a Death Servitor blood transfusion, which reverted the draconization process.

After she woke up, she received a box with her toys and all the clothes that she bought with Mingfei.

Chisei noticed that Erii acted more independent, and he became grateful towards Mingfei for it.

He decided to allow her to leave her enclosure and go out of the building whenever she wanted, so he taught her how to recognize the nearby streets and find her way back home.

The next day, she learned of Tachibana's death, and she went with Chisei to put flowers on his grave.

Death

When the Oni Clan won the war against the Orochi, Chisei feared for her safety, so he arranged for a special car and plane to take Erii to South Korea, where she would have a new name: Jin Si Won.

She contacted Mingfei and tried to convince him to go to Seoul with her, but Mingfei urged her to leave.

Instead, her driver took her directly to Izanami's resurrection place, the Red Well, where Osho waited for her arrival.

Ruri Kazama nearly killed Izanami in her parasitic form, but the creature's spine managed to crawl and reach Erii, who was immediately covered by a cocoon of blood-draining filaments.

Herzog waited for her body to filter the dragon's toxicity and offered Chisei and Chime to the cocoon so it could absorb their blood and accelerate Erii's transformation into a dragon.

Finally, he exchanged his own blood with hers, allowing him to become the new White Dragon King, but killing her in the process.

A sorrowful Mingfei reached her, removed the parasite from her spine, and crushed it.

He dressed Erii in her favorite clothes and broke down after finding her post cards, prompting him to exchange the third quarter of his life and fuse with Lu Mingze to kill Herzog.

Before the Aces left Takamagahara, a popularity contest was held and Mingfei surprisingly won it, thanks to the 100,000 flower tickets that were previously purchased by Erii.

He also inherited all of her belongings, which were previously tagged with her name; Mingfei noticed that Erii added his name next to hers.
