Rama

The protagonist of the Ramayana, one of the great Indian epics. Ravana was a rakshasa who was capable of commanding the gods themselves. He tricked the creator god into making it so that he could only be killed by humans, not gods or spirits.

Granting the appeals of the gods Vishnu reincarnated as a mortal, but in the process he forgot everything about his godhood.

He was reborn as Prince Rama.

Rama was born a wise ruler, but a plot by his relatives stripped him of his claim to the throne and drove him from his homeland.

His beloved wife Sita, who traveled with him, was stolen by the rakshasa Ravana, and Rama devoted himself to getting her back.

Rama was given many weapons by many gurus, and for 14 years he traveled with an army of monkeys, led by the famous Hanuman, as he battled Ravana and his armies.

But even someone as great as Rama, made one fatal mistake.

He intervened in a battle between the monkeys, siding with Sugriva and ambushing the monkey Vali.

Vali's wife then put a curse on Rama.

"Even if you get your wife back, you will never share joy together."

...This curse still binds him.

He acts a bit arrogantly towards his Master. Which makes him seem like a bratty kid.

Perhaps it's because of his unique circumstances as a Servant, since he has the wisdom of an old man, but not the mental age of one.

Kind to his men and to animals, he's a bit harsher around Servants who were famous tyrants.

Originally an arrow, it was intended to be fired from a bow, but Rama wanted to be a Saber so he turned it into a sword.

However, it maintains its capabilities as a throwing weapon, and this sword can be thrown at his foes.

It's not a good idea to point out this discrepancy.

His wish for the Grail is to be reunited with Sita.

Even in death, even as a Heroic Spirit, the curse that binds him has not faded.

The curse will last as long as they both love each other, and in a way, is a sign of their love for one another.

He is summoned as his younger self, because that's his peak condition when he was fighting to get Sita back.
