Gambit
MutantD tier
Introduction
Gambit is a character in Marvel Contest of Champions. Gambit's role is Mutant.
On our Marvel Contest of Champions tier list Gambit is D tier, 240th of the 297 characters ranked, from where 8 current tier lists put Gambit.
Is Gambit good?
Gambit punishes Thorns effects, carries decent Special damage, and resists Bleed, which covers a fair bit of ground defensively. Crit Rating feeds his Signature Ability and Prowess, and pairing Petrify with his Stun stacking lowers the opponent's regen rate even further.
Stun immunity and Nullify are his clear counters, cutting off two of his main tools. D tier for a champion with real synergy pieces but not enough to keep up.
Strengths
- Punishes Thorns effects
- Decent Special damage
- Resists Bleed
Weaknesses
- Stun-immune opponents deny a core part of his kit
- Nullify cuts off his buff-dependent tools
