Is Purgatory good?
Purgatory plays aggressively, building Bloodthirst with every landed attack until she hits 100 and enters Demonic Rampage, a state that boosts her Attack Rating, adds bonus effects to her Special Attacks, and makes her second Medium Incinerate the opponent. Filling a Bar of Power pauses that Rampage, so the goal is to do it as often as possible, and her passive Power gain, plus the healing on Special 1, helps offset her reduced Combat Power Rate.
She's stuck at C mainly because anything that interferes with her Power gain hurts badly, and she has to physically find a Mutant opponent before she can even use Power Steal.
Strengths
- Demonic Rampage boosts Attack Rating, adds Special Attack bonuses, and Incinerates through her second Medium
- Passive Power gain from Bloodthirst helps offset her reduced Combat Power Rate
- Neutralize passives are indefinite and ramp up in potency over a fight

Background
Purgatory is a twisted, demonic creature, from an alternate timeline where Morningstar was finally able to defeat Guillotine and steal her sword back.
With the blade finally back in her hands, the demonic presence within it overwhelmed Queen Haasen and convinced her to slay Guillotine.
Doing so corrupted both her body and soul, transforming her into Purgatory and sending her on a bloodthirsty rampage unlike any seen in a millennium.

PassivePurgatory’s demonic nature provides Immunity to Incinerate and causes all attacks to deal Energy Damage instead of Physical. Combat Power Rate is decreased by 40%.
Class Soul Abilities
PassivePurgatory gains additional abilities depending on the Opponent’s Class. Mystic Soul: When the Opponent launches a Special Attack, gain a 60% Block Regeneration Passive for 6 seconds. Cosmic Soul: When filling a Bar of Power, Nullify 1 of the Opponent’s Buffs. Whenever an Opponent’s Buff is Nullified or prevented with Neutralize, gain an Unblockable Buff for 2 seconds. Tech Soul: When filling a Bar of Power, inflict an Armor Break Debuff, reducing Armor Rating by 1069.44 for 9 seconds. Mutant Soul: At the end of the Opponent’s Special Attacks, Power Steal 40% of their remaining Power, gaining 150% of the Power Stolen over 4 seconds. Skill Soul: When a personal Debuff on the Opponent ends or is prevented from activating, inflict a Slow Passive for 12 seconds. Science Soul: A chemically-tainted soul cannot be stolen.

Soul Neutralize
PassiveSoul Neutralize – Cross-Fight Soul Capture As Purgatory gains Power, the Bloodline sword steals the soul from the Opponent’s body, inflicting Soul Neutralize, which counts as an indefinite, 10% Neutralize Passive. Max stacks: 10. Soul Neutralize is not affected by Ability Accuracy. Inflict 1 Soul Neutralize at the start of each fight and when filling a Bar of Power. As a Defender, inflict 2 each time. At 10 Soul Neutralizes, the Opponent’s soul is Captured, granting their Class Soul Ability for the remainder of the Quest.
Bloodthirst
PassiveChampion Attacks - Bloodthirst - Max: 100 When either Champion lands a Basic Attack or performs a Well-Timed Block, gain 5 Bloodthirst. Purgatory loses 5 Bloodthirst if she goes 4 seconds without increasing her Bloodthirst. This timer is paused during any Special Attack and expires 20% slower for each Buff on the Opponent. Gaining Bloodthirst Passively grants up to 9% of a Bar of Power based on current Bloodthirst over 1.5 seconds. At 100 Bloodthirst, enter Demonic Rampage.
Demonic Rampage
PassiveDemonic Rampage - Bloodthirst Locked to 100 For 15 seconds, Purgatory gains 9855.2 Attack Rating and her Special Attacks gain Rampage enhancements. Demonic Rampage is paused during all Special Attacks and for 3 seconds each time Purgatory fills a Bar of Power. Striking with a Medium Combo-Ender consumes 50% of a Bar of Purgatory’s Power to inflict an Incinerate Debuff, dealing 11087.1 Energy Damage over 4 seconds. When Demonic Rampage ends, reset Bloodthirst to 0.

Special AttackPurgatory staggers the Opponent with a kick, then assaults them with a whirling torrent blade and flame. On Activation, gain 25 Bloodthirst. Rampage: Each hit Passively Regenerates 15% of the damage dealt.
Special 2 - Stinging Souls
Special AttackPurgatory unleashes a beam of pure demonic energy from her corrupted heart, ripping through the ground and blasting her Opponent back. The last hit inflicts a Degeneration Debuff, dealing 33261.3 Direct Damage over 6 second(s). Rampage: This attack is Passively Unblockable.

Special 3 - Calamity Symphony
Special AttackGiving herself over to the Bloodline sword completely, Purgatory merges with the sword as it slices the Opponent and carries them into the air. She then reappears for one final earth-shattering strike. Gain a non-stacking Power Gain Buff, granting 3 Bars of Power over 35 seconds. Rampage or if the Opponent’s soul is Captured: This attack ignores Armor and deals additional damage equal to 4% of the Opponent’s Max Health. The additional damage cannot be increased.
