Is Red Benimaru good?
Red Benimaru piles on burst damage against a single target, stacking a debuff skill, his Holy Relic, and a passive that all work together to land crits even on enemies with heavy crit resistance. His Dragon Strike card cuts a target's defense by 20 percent, which is exactly why he's a strong pick against the Howlex boss, since that defense cut lets the whole team pile on bigger damage.
His Holy Relic is basically mandatory too, since it adds an attack bonus that lets him crit more consistently, and pairing him with allies whose passives boost crit chance further, such as 
Red Kyo, Green Festival Zeldris, or Blue Luduciel, gets him through even the tankiest defenses. The right opening is Dragon Strike followed by Fire Slash.
