Fern is an SSR Fire character in Solo Leveling: Arise. Fern's role is Mage.

Fern ramps up over the course of a fight through a pair of stacking effects, Magical Prodigy and Mana Power Tracking, that boost her attack and damage the longer she keeps chaining her core attack and basic skills together. Using those skills back to back also shaves down their cooldowns, so her damage keeps climbing the more consistently she's played.

Fern is a playable Hunter in Solo Leveling: ARISE within the Solo Leveling: ARISE x Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Collaboration.

She is a Striker-class mage who focuses on high sustained damage, using rapid and precise Zoltraak attacks to overwhelm enemies.

Through fast skill rotations and stacking effects, she continuously increases her damage output, excelling at pressuring bosses in battle, though her high MP consumption requires careful resource management.

Dossier #01: Meeting Frieren

Fern, having lost everything as a war orphan, was about to take her own life when Heiter the Priest appeared and took her in.

Fern learned magic on her own until she began receiving proper guidance from Heiter's former companion, Frieren.

Fern's life goal at the time was to learn how to live independetly and to prove that she had grown into a capable adult while Heiter was alive.

Through intense training, she accomplished in four years what would take an ordinary person ten.

Finally, she succeeded in piercing the largest rock.

After Heiter passed away, Fern set out on a journey to pursue magic together with Frieren.

Dossier #02: A Birthday Gift

Frieren and Fern decided to restock their supplies while in the city, They divided the tasks, but Fern handled most of the essentials.

Frieren seemed to be hiding something, and Fern worried that Frieren might be planning to buy unnecessary things...

but Frieren was choosing accessories with a serious look.

Shortly after, while enjoying some sweets, Frieren gave Fern a pretty hair accessory as a birthday gift.

Frieren apologized for not knowing her taste, but Fern was filled with joy.

"I feel so happy that you took the time to get to know me."

From that day on, Fern treasured the hair accessory Frieren had given her.

Dossier #03: Meeting Stark

While searching for a vanguard, Frieren and Fern visited the village where the warrior Stark lived, on the recommendation of Frieren's old comrade Eisen.

Stark agreed to join them on the condition that they help him defeat the Solar Dragon attacking the village.

However, frightened by the dragon, Stark clung to Frieren and cried.

That night, Fern went to find Stark as he trained and spoke gently with him, recalling her own experience.

"All you needed was resolve. What you've put work into building won't leave you so easily."

Finally, Stark defeated the dragon on his own and joined them as a companion on their journey.

Dossier #04: Battle with a Demon

During their Journey, Frieren and her party encountered a demon.

Lügner, the demon, appeared to see Fern as no real, and the two, who had both devoted most of their lives to magic, fought fiercely.

Lügner's pride and arrogancec led him to underestimate Fern's skills.

"Don't move."

"From this range, I could strike straight through your heart."
