Dossier #01: Finding Balance

"What do you really want to do?"

When the results came out, everyone was surprised.

Her full name was neatly posted on the school bulletin board.

She was second place in the entire school.

"With these grades, you can do anything."

Teachers praised her, and her parents smiled with pride.

She had a clear path to a stable life. Many people dreamed of what she had.

But YUQI's heart carried an odd sense of loneliness.

As she sat at her desk solving problems, other thoughts would sometimes creep in.

The stage floor, the spotlights, the cheers.

And... singing.

Academic success didn't lock her into any one path.

Then YUQI awakened and discovered there were even more roads for her to choose from.

"Do you still want to be an idol... or do you want to be a hunter?"

YUQI hesitated for a long time, then quietly lifted her head.

"...They're both me. I'll walk both paths."

And so, one girl began two different journeys.

Dossier #02: A Name Unknown to All

She was unknown at first. YUQI asked the Hunters Association to let her start working independently, without any guild affiliation.

On the battlefield, she always wore her hat pulled down low, and to those who asked her name, she responded with her actions rather than words.

She wasn't trying to hide- she just didn't want to be pulled from either path she was pursuing.

One day, another Dungeon Break occurred in the city.

Amid the chaos, a magic beast had her cornered.

Just as its claw was closing in on her, a small image flashed across her vision.

A single violet butterfly.

"...What was that?" She wondered.

Whatever it was, it had managed to buy her time to escape.

YUQI chased the butterfly to the front of a familiar building.

The fluorescent lights flickered in the hallway.

Music softly bled through the wall of the practice room.

"This is where I was headed anyway..."

Dossier #03: Nightmares

She started to suspect that she might not be alone on her twin journeys.

YUQI watched the people in the practice room carefully.

Feet twisting and stepping in perfect unison, eyes gleaming with determination before the mirror.

A nervous flutter of pre-performance energy was in the air.

"Could there be someone... living two lives like me?"

She tried to ask casually: "Hey, are any of you hunters?" But what she got back was mostly laughs.

"Nah, I'm too scared to do something like that."

"It'd be fun if we had those kinds of powers in real life, right?"

YUQI laughed along with them, but though the laughter faded, her unspoken loneliness suddenly felt much heavier.

"Am I really... all alone?"

Then one day, her fellow trainee MINNIE came up to her.

"YUQI... I've been having these weird dreams lately."

The moment YUQI heard those words, she knew.

Inside MINNIE was a power just like her.

Dossier #04: Validation

She fought magic beasts outside the practice room, but laughed and danced within.

A perfect trainee and a mysterious hunter.

Though her two lives clashed every day, YUQI embraced them both with a smile.

"I only have one body, and that makes it tough...

but I choose both the stage and the battlefield."

During break time, someone asked, "Do you really have to push yourself so hard?"

YUQI didn't answer. Instead, the next day, she was the first to memorize the choreography for the next song.

Being an idol was her dream, and being a hunter was her duty.

YUQI was always at the heart of things.

Dossier #05: By the Name "YUQI"

"An idol and a hunter... Aren't those completely different jobs?"

Someone asked. After thinking for a while, YUQI answered.

"Not to me... I've never thought so. To me, they're not different jobs, but different parts of the job of being me."

She believed that if she could protect the audience from the stage, she could shine on the battlefield as well.

And that's how she lived her life.

"I'm YUQI. I'd be happy as just an idol, but I'm so glad I get to be a hunter, too."

Living two lives under one name. For YUQO, it was the most natural thing in the world.
