Bryophyta

Bryophyta is a 5-star character in Arknights. Bryophyta's class is Guard. Faction: Siesta.

On our Arknights tier list Bryophyta is D tier, 272nd of the 293 characters ranked, from where 5 current tier lists put Bryophyta.

A 5-star Guard who supports nearby melee operators. When he isn't blocking, his talent raises the DEF of melee allies in the surrounding tiles, and when he is blocking it raises his own DEF instead. Earthen Tenacity boosts his ATK and gives 80% DEF to the nearby melee ally with the highest block, then stuns him for 5 seconds.

His first skill is a simple Power Strike. He's a modest support Guard with little damage.

The girl follows with big round eyes, watching fixedly as the sheet flutters through the air.

She's totally won over, the errands the grown-ups gave her gone in a puff of smoke.

"Enis said he'd play kick the can with me!"

"Enis said he'd braid my hair for me!"

And so, one sprawled on the bed and the other leaning by the wall, the two little rascals vie over it, each wanting the bigger slice of their brother's time.

"5:30, restock, there is no pepper, if you do not buy it Harley will think the food tastes like nothing again."

"9:30, deliver letters, also mail Chuck the trekking sticks he wants, they are just picking up dust at home."

The day was packed, and the to-do list was too.

The little ones looked and pondered, and it seemed there was no free time to squeeze in anything else.

"Oh, with so much to do... will Enis make it back for dinner?"

"He'll definitely come back for dinner! Instead of going for ice cream, let's help Harley with dinner..."

"So, no more kick the can?"

"No more hair braiding!"

The little boy pulled out a chessboard from under the bed, and the little girl found the chess pieces in a drawer.

"After dinner, we can play this!"

"But Enis has been working all day; he must be really tired...

Will he still play with us?"

"Of course! Enis says..."

"He loves playing with us the most!"

Bryophyta is a 5★ Instructor Guard who specializes in DPS and Support, and the welfare Operator of So Long, Adele, awarded for completing the Dolly's Task List mission which requires the player to clear SL-5 with his Operator Tokens (Bryophyta's Token) available in the "White Volcano" for Fluffybeast's Fur, Fluffybeast's Fur, Fluffybeast's Fur, Fluffybeast's Fur, and Fluffybeast's Fur.

As an Instructor Guard, Bryophyta's attacks have a range of 2 tiles ahead of him and do 1.2× damage against enemies he isn't blocking, though this does not allow him to hit flying enemies like Lord Guards and certain Protector Defenders.

Bryophyta can block up to two enemies and has modest overall stats.

Bryophyta is primarily meant to support melee Operators with his talent Cautious Planning which buffs the DEF of melee Operators in the adjacent tiles to him (including Bryophyta himself), which is doubled for Bryophyta himself when he is blocking enemies.

His skills, on the other hand, also augments melee Operators but need to be used with care due to its drawbacks:

The first skill, Power Strike β, is an intermediate "critical hit" skill that significantly increases the damage dealt by Bryophyta's attack every several attacks, which is good for delivering sustained DPS.

The second skill, Soil Perseverance, buffs the ATK of Bryophyta and the DEF of the friendly unit with the highest block count in the surrounding tiles to him (which in the worst case could be Bryophyta himself; unless if there are no melee Operators within said range, in which case the DEF buff is applied to Bryophyta himself instead) while active, but the Operator who had their DEF buffed by Soil Perseverance will be Stunned for a short time after it expires.

Bryophyta's INS-X Operator Module, Good Times After Dinner, further increases the damage he deals against enemies he isn't blocking to 1.3×, in addition to increasing his maximum HP and ATK; once upgraded, Cautious Planning's DEF buff is increased.

Bryophyta's first base skill, Metalwork α, increases Factories' Pure Gold productivity by 30% when he is assigned to one, which his second base skill Part-Timer's Understanding further increasing the Factory's productivity by 5% for every Metalwork base skills in the Factory Bryophyta is assigned to (including that of himself).
